Quillon I did not like this cigar at all I could not even get past the first quarter. Flavor was very strange I could not even place it. Reminded me of a “corked” bottle of wine. Good draw construction was nice just took it off of my wish list. 3 5 1

Quillon The construction of the Montecristo Espada plays into my overall thoughts on the cigar. While the smoke had a nice woody profile and the last third was the most enjoyable. However the burn issues of the first two-thirds were just too much to overcome. I might give the cigar another chance from a different box but for now this is a cigar that I just can’t recommend. The only saving grace for me was the last third of the smoke. 3 5 1

I typically smoke the white labels and found the construction draw and burn to be equally as good. I did find it just a tad bit harsh till it warmed up for me but after that it was a pleasure. One of the better box presentations for a smoke at this price and has the wow effect if you decided to gift these. 4 5 1
