Belicoso A tight draw on most of these mars an otherwise tasty smoke. Zesty with a medium body flavor profile. 3 5 1
Belicoso I've smoked two of the five pack. The first was undefiled and unshakable. The second was perfectly rolled but the flavor is just...meh. Not what I expected and cameroon wrappers are my favorite. 3 5 1
Belicoso When they are well-constructed they are pretty good but they are very inconsistent with many of them rolled too tight. Even when well-rolled they are not as good as the Lonsdale or Corona. This is too fat a ring gauge for this blend. I hold Upmanns to a high standard and these don't make the grade. 2 5 1
Belicoso Excellent smoke! This cigar is perfect on all levels. One of my new favorites. 4 5 1
Belicoso I've always liked upmann cigars.it's been awhile since i smoked one.nice cedar sleeve wrapped.the Cameroon provides a good smooth flavor. 4 5 1
Belicoso i camaroon was to light for me and gave me a bad taste in my mouth that oh wow didnt like 2 5 1
Belicoso This was a stick that was mild to medium to me and if given the chance I would try it again 3 5 1
Belicoso Very nice smoke with an easy and smooth draw and a decent solid construction last third is great with a spicy finish. 5 5 1
Belicoso A pleasure to smoke. It's a perfectly rolled figurado with a great tasting Cameroon wrapper and it reminded me of days long past. I should have bought 2 packs but who knew? 5 5 1
Belicoso A great smoke one of my favorites mellow all the way great draw even burn. Will be adding more to my humidor 5 5 1
Belicoso Very smooth all the way down. Great smoke! Had my first one in a cigar bar at Kohler resort in Wisconsin. These were every bit as good so it's no accident that they make a great cigar. 4 5 1
Belicoso Excellent cigar that you can spoke until the end while enjoying the same flavor. I really enjoyed this particular cigar and it has become one of my all time favorites. 4 5 1
Belicoso Excellent cigar. The packaging was very nice. It smoked great from start to finish with excellent flavor. 3 5 1
Belicoso I have to compare this to the vintage 2002 that I have smoked and have actually quite a few of but this cigar just does not measure up to the standards of the company in my head but then again I don't run a company so what do I know right!? It's a good cigar just the quality is not all there for me on this one 3 5 1
Belicoso Excellent cigar. The packaging was very nice. It smoked great from start to finish with excellent flavor. 5 5 1
Belicoso Cameroon means spice and this is no exception! If you are a fan of Cameroon wrappers this will not disappoint! Very well made and decently priced! 4 5 1
Belicoso you know I normally only smoke h. Up man of the more exclusive variety however I was quite pleased by the flavor of this belacoso 4 5 1
Belicoso Not the best this brand has to offer but a good value for the money and a good every day smoke I really liked it 4 5 1
Belicoso Wow this is a great cigar. I've always loved H.Upman and this cigar just reinforces that love. A++++ 5 5 1
Belicoso Really solid Cameroon cigar. Not the most complex or flavorful but always a reliable choice a legit cameroon stick 4 5 1
Belicoso Pretty mild overall. Great smooth flavor in a beautiful wrapper and cedar sleeve. Makes for a good change of pace when you want something easy to smoke 4 5 1
Belicoso The H uann vintage Cameroon is still a great. But. It has a nice cedar wrap that adds extra flavor as it aged and the wrapper has a nice oily sheen that provides a beautiful medium npxied flavor 4 5 1
Belicoso These had a good burn but cut cut them a little past halfway on the tip for a good draw it can be a little tight but they loosen past the halfway mark. Little sharp on the first third but pleasant thick dark cedar and earth solid ash skewed burn line but evens itself out no touch up needed. Gets fuller in the middle definite cedar and dark cherry with a dashapeppa. Final third is all cream take your time coming in to it so you can make the most of the burn. Effortless clouds thick Cameroon and pepper. That last third is what this stick is all about and worth the price paid. Be patient with this one it's worth it. 4 5 1
Belicoso Foot smells good nutty when toasted. Excellent burn line no touch ups needed. Moves into heavy cedar and earth and finishes thick and smooth. As a matter of fact the last third is worth the price alone. I would go back to it any time. 4 5 1
Belicoso Fabulous cigar; hands down my favorite and my go to ! 5 5 1
Belicoso Very good find, really enjoying them. Thank You 4 5 1
Belicoso Excellent Cigar for its price 5 5 1
Belicoso I bought a 10 pack of what was once one of my favorite cigars. The ones I received were tightly sealed in cellophane. They were overly moist and had numerous spots of white mold on them. They have an acrid flavor. I have quarantined them so they don't ruin anything else. So far it looks like I will be discarding the ones I have not yet smoked. Hope your luck is better. 2 5 1
Belicoso Cameroon is my favorite. That being said the old cameroon Upmans were solid fives. The new ones are not constructed as well as the old ones.I had a few that had burn issues. You can have the best tobacco in the world and if it isn't rolled well it's no good.Still give em four and a half and will buy again 4 5 1
Belicoso Everything about this torpedo is great. A very nice chestnut brown and sturdy wrapper. Rolled tight and packed with tobacco and had an easy draw. Burns slow cool and even. It contains some Peruvian filler not found in many cigars. Delicious tastes of dark chocolate with toasty and nutty flavors and has some complexity. Medium body but so smooth. I plan on buying more. 5 5 1
Belicoso Very pleasing smoke. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great quality well constructed cigar 4 5 1
Belicoso I really enjoy the flavor of these. The Cameroon wrapper adds really good flavor as well as the cedar wrapping as it ages. Try this. You will like it. 4 5 1
Belicoso Excellent smooth and flavorful smoke. I like this one in the morning with a cup of coffee after breakfast 5 5 1
Belicoso The vintage Camroon belicoso by h. Upmann is a good mild bodied medium bodied masterful stick I love h. Upmann 4 5 1
Belicoso Great cigar. Just be careful of cutting the tip. Might start in raveling. Works best with a shallow V cut. 4 5 1
Belicoso H. Upmanns were my first go-to cigars. Like all of their cigars they have a consistent straight burn and excellent draw. Add the spiciness of the Cameroon wrapper making this one of my favorites. 5 5 1
Belicoso Nice cigar. I will buy again. This cigar was a nice smoke and it smell great. 4 5 1
Belicoso Draw is terrible. It's a chore to finish this smoke. I had 3 out of a 5 pack I bought on sale. Nothing about how this stick was impressive. I will not buy again. 1 5 1
Belicoso 20 years ago Upmann used to have a chairman's reserve line. The torpedo was the best cigar on the market. This one is ALMOST as good. 5 5 1
Belicoso I love this cigar. The Cameroon leaf is said to be difficult to work with and that is why so many people shy away from using it for a wrapper. But when it is done right it makes for an excellent complex flavor. Really great with a good wine or a nice single malt. 4 5 1
Belicoso I was pleasantly surprised by this cigar easy draw Burns evenly very satisfying. I love this cigar will buy again. 5 5 1
Belicoso This one is well constructed smells wonderful burns wonderful full of smoke. The flavor is what it lacks just flat one flavor all the way through. 4 5 1
Belicoso Very smooth all the way down. Great smoke! Had my first one in a cigar bar at Kohler resort in Wisconsin. These were every bit as good so it's no accident that they make a great cigar. 4 5 1
Belicoso This is a well made cigar that's on the heavy side of medium. The burn is slightly uneven not a big deal. The taste is somewhat grassy and slightly tart. A good cigar none the less. I purchased these because the wrapper filler and binder are the same as in the RyJ cabinet seleccion (white label) but this cigar lacks the depth and complexity of the RyJ they are also half the price. I can see these becoming my go to cigar. 4 5 1
Belicoso I have quite a few of these cigars home now Excellent cigar mild smooth and nice cedar finish Always very consistant and nice wrapper 5 5 1
Belicoso A really nice medium bodied cigar with a toothy Cameroon wrapper. It is well constructed and has consistent draw and flavor. 4 5 1
Belicoso Loved this cigar from first sight the cedar wrap is a great way to impart a cedar woodsy flavor and a touch of earthiness note I also used the cedar wrapper to lite the gar that helped as well great complexity exceptional construction perfect draw 5 5 1
Belicoso Terrible draw very tight hard to get smoke out of. The flavors are very pleasant but incredibly mild. Very frustrating stick good flavors but a tight draw and mild smoke makes it unbearable. 3 5 1
Belicoso Great smoke. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Flavor was spot on and the burn was great. Burned a little uneven but nothing a torch can't fix. 4 5 1
Belicoso this cigar had lots of nice smooth flavors it was pretty consistent not a lot transitions I really liked it anyway 3 5 1
Belicoso Love these cigars has been my go to cigar for ten years. I love everything about this cigar. Always a pleasure to smoke! 5 5 1
Belicoso Very satisfying smoke - can't go wrong with these. 4 5 1
Belicoso My father was big on H. Upmann cigars, namely the 1844 Reserve, so when I got into cigars 10 years or so ago, that's what I gravitated too. After awhile I got bored and spent years trying brands here and there, until I found one of the Vintage Cameroons at a local shop. I was hooked. Nutty on the first draws with a flavor that evolves into a more spicy and woody flavor as it smokes, the Vintage Cameroon has now become my daily stick. I would rate it as leaning more to a full bodied strength than a medium, but that being said, a friend of mine who smokes Ashton prime ministers daily didn't find it to be too strong (he thought it was delicious). For the price of these compared to their flavor and construction, they really can't be beat. 5 5 1
Belicoso An excellent cigar. Beautiful flavors, great construction and an enjoyable smoke 5 5 1
Belicoso One of my favs! I will always have them in my humidors. Love the flavor! 5 5 1
Belicoso Very enjoyable smoke. Nice cigar. 4 5 1
Belicoso Vintage Cameroon stands by its own self. 5 5 1
Belicoso This box of cigars (so far, only 5 left) was no good and I was unable to keep it lit. Thet just turned black almost like charcole. 1 5 1
Belicoso Amazing cigar. It has tons of flavor & full spicy notes yet mellow. I have to agree with another review, that it brought me back to H. Upman. I always need to keep some in my humidor now 5 5 1
Belicoso Good Cigars 5 5 1
Belicoso This is one of my all-time favorite sticks! I enjoy this variety on a regular basis price effective and flavor changes galore… I would suggest this to any cigar in theist 5 5 1
Belicoso I've smoked a fair share of H. Upmann and other brands. This is the worst tasting H. Upmann I've ever had. In fact, it is probably the worst smoke I've ever had. There was nothing wrong with the wrapper or draw - it was just a poor taste. 1 5 1
Belicoso I love Upmann cigars but these I received are extremely dry! I’ll put them in the humidor but I think I’m now done with JR’s Auctions!! The cigars fall apart and the wrapper comes lose! 2 5 1
Belicoso They were not perfect, but still enjoyable. The wrapper seemed a little loose, but with perservence, I got through it. I got two left, well see how it goes. 4 5 1
Belicoso I normally get a woodsy, leafy aroma from most of the upmann blends, and it seems appropriate to have them as the days get cooler. I prefer a Toro but bought the beli on a whim. These are quite consistent in flavor and smokeability. They aren't as solidly built as others I have had, but that's probably normal for a lot of brands. Altogether, I get a woodsy, spicy aroma and a fine smoke. 4 5 1
Belicoso Woody, nutty, and spicy, and even some fruity chocolate flavors to me. Very smooth and enjoyable down to the nub, Great way to experience a Cameroon wrapper. I just couldn't put this stick down. 5 5 1
Belicoso This is only the second time I have ordered these but so far so very good. 5 5 1
Belicoso These were fantastic. All five were great from beginning to end. 5 5 1
Belicoso I Purchased these cigars on sale in 5 packs. They arrived extremely dry. Wrappers would Crack open 1/3 through the smoke. These will have to sit in the humidor for some time before being ready to enjoy. The flavor was ok but the draw was very inconsistent. I considered these a good deal price wise but be prepared to let them sit in your humidor for sometime before they are ready to be smoked. 2 5 1
Belicoso Good price but average cigar at best. 5 5 1
Belicoso I was very disappointed in my total order, because these cigars don't feel and smoke as fresh as they should. Vintage Cameroons are one of my favorite smokes. They are dry and the end breaks and unwraps when the tip is cut off. I seriously thought about sending them back but don't want to go through the hassle. These are not what I expect from JR. BTW, I have purchased cigars from Lew Rothman for 50 years or longer and the new ownership is not doing the name brand justice. 3 5 1
Belicoso The H. Upmann 1844 Vintage Cameroon cigar impresses with its toothy EMS wrapper, although a few minor blemishes in the form of small 1mm discolored spots (not sure about their origin) were noticeable (x5). The dry draw reveals delightful nutty undertones. The draw itself maintains a medium consistency, showcasing the cigar's excellent construction. As you indulge in this smoke, you'll savor earthy and leathery notes, accompanied by a short but satisfying finish. This cigar falls within the mellow to medium-bodied range, offering a pleasant balance. In terms of strength, it hovers between mild and medium, catering to a wide range of palates. Its solid white ash is visually appealing, and the burn remains even throughout, indicating a well-aged creation. 4 5 1
Belicoso H upmann are my go to smokes and with the different line extensions I am like a "kid in a candy store"!!! I enjoyed this cameroon with its chocolate leather notes. I cannot top Alex V's review, I can only echo it!!! 4 5 1
Belicoso I ordered several 5-packs. They arrived dry as a bone and unsmokeable. I tried to smoke one and there just wasn’t anything there, Mild at best and just lifeless. 1 5 1
Belicoso Great option for Cameroon lovers like me. I've noticed minor inconsistencies in the draw and flavor profiles of Upmanns in general, and these aren't immune-- that said, I was able to smoke and enjoy every single one 4 5 1
Belicoso I'm a big fan of a Cameroon wrapper and my favorite, the Hemmingway series can get pretty expensive. I picked up a 5-pack of the Belicoso and was more than pleasantly surprised. I liked it enough to buy 5-packs of the Belicoso on a couple other occasions over the last four or five months and after a short rest in the humidor, they have all been wonderful. I think it's very important to let any cigar rest for about a month after it arrives. These have really good flavor, a beautiful wrapper and excellent construction. The draw and burn on the ones I have smoked have been damn near perfect and that says a lot for construction in the Belicoso vitola. I would say the flavor profile is just short of medium strength and they make a great morning cigar. Pricepoint is great as well. 5 5 1
Belicoso One of the best this brand produces I enjoyed it n I smoke them quite a lot a go to when I have the time to savor them 5 5 1
