Banshee I thought they were very good. Nice draw and very good burn 5 5 1
Banshee Not bad, but doesn't hold a candle to the Dominican. The San Andres wrapper on the Dominican has waaaaay more flavor. This one is a decent yard stick, but for the cons, the draw is loose, it's super whispy on the mouth feel, and has more of a light bodied to medium flavor. Maybe better as a starter stick for a newbie. Otherwise, if you're looking for a stash to not burn through your premium sticks, the Dominican is much more worth it. 4 5 1
Banshee I really liked the regular Black Abyss cigars. I'd give those a solid 4.5 stars any day. So when I realized they had a Nicaraguan one (which I heavily lean towards Nicaraguan cigars) I was pretty excited. Unfortunately, they've been a disappointment. The draw is really good. But that's about where it stops. I've had about 10 of these now and they've all been the same. They don't burn well AT ALL. They've all burned down one side REALLY bad, requiring multiple touch ups. And the initial flavor is just alright. Nothing bad, but nothing to write home about. But the biggest problem always happens in the last third. They start to give off this horrendously sour/bitter taste that just absolutely ruins the whole experience. As I sit here trying to finish one off, I just can not find the words to describe this unpleasant taste. I guess the only thing it reminds me of is this. If any of you ever used to be cigarette smokers (like I was) every now and again you'll get a cigarette that has a really bad stem or seed or something in it. And as SOON as you light that cigarette you can just smell and taste how nasty it is, and put it out and get another one. That's about the best way I can describe the sour taste I'm getting out of every one of these cigars down at the end. I've probably smoked WELL over 1,000 cigars in my life, and I can say without a doubt, these have honestly been the worste one's I've ever had. I'd like to think that I just somehow got a bad box. But 10 or so in, and they've all been like this? I think I'll pass on these in the future. 2 5 1
Banshee Medium, spicy. Try it. Nice price 3 5 1
Banshee The draw and burn were uniform. I think a little more flavor would be great. 4 5 1
Banshee Decent burn and draw. Medium-full bodied. Flavor just ok. One down note...it is hard to get the bands off without damaging the wrapper since they are super glued on skin tight. 3 5 1
Banshee Good draw and good flavor with average construction. Auction is the way to buy this cigar, so patience is needed to get a reasonable price. 4 5 1
