Toro Part of a sampler. Had with a not too hoppy IPA before golf. Easy to smoke. Good draw. Flavor was sweet creamy tobacco. Really good. 5 5 1

Toro I bought 20 of these and almost everyone had a problem they either burned poorly or would just suck air. Worst cigars I have had. I don't write reviews but I think monte cristo should work on fewer lines and get those right. 1 5 1

Toro The Montecristo Classic series is my guilty pleasure. I don't often burn 15 to 20 dollar cigars but these are the exception to that rule. Excellent in every category. I will never turn one down. 5 5 1
Toro I'm not sure whether these cigars need a few more months of aging, or if they are just poorly rolled, but the 10 I got were plugged and spongy, as if they had lots of residual moisture. Montecristo cigars are not nearly as good as they are touted to be, and these are no exception. I did get a few puffs by cutting one in two, and the taste was green and vegetal, with ash gray, indicating that they were released before they were ready. Maybe this is why JR is pushing them heavily on the auction side. 1 5 1
Toro Classic cigars include the great blend of Connecticut shade with Dominican filler and binder, one blend popular in America for decades. It gives a mellow, easy to smoke blend, and together with a great easy draw and perfect burn it fulfills my requirements. This time it was a cool morning with a coffee. 5 5 1
