Right off the bat there was a fast draw, but not from poor construction. The ash hold really well. There is an outstanding taste to start - peppery and very well-balanced, but not as good a finish. It leaves a tough-on-the-palate leathery lingering after-taste. I’d say the backend is not as well-balanced as the initial draw but still a very good cigar.

I find myself drawn to this cigar in large part by its' appearance. Wrapper, powder blue label. After lighting up, my first impression was the ash - almost a snow-colored white, Spicy, pleasurable flavor similar to El Jefe, even burn, rarely need to relight, excellent draw. I like large cigars - I'll pick the Mi Amor Valentino when I have 90 minutes - two hours for a relaxing smoke.
