Robusto Really like these bad boys. After suitable humidor rest each stick burned evenly no relights and beautiful white smoke. Good tight roll not unraveling. Nice stick for bargain mild premium performance. 4 5 1

Robusto I got a few of these as part of a freebie sampler. Apart from the cheap-looking band, which is easily removed, these are fine cigars. Above average construction, good draw, plenty of oils in the wrapper, a fairly slow and consistent burn, and mellow, nutty flavors. It's an enjoyable smoke. Given the overall quality and smoke experience, I would label this an excellent value-for-money cigar. I wish the flavors were a little more creamy and better-integrated (a bit acrid at times in the final third), but on the whole, an enjoyable smoke. 4 5 1

Robusto I'm a one a day smoker and I've smoked 3 so far and am fairly disappointed. The construction is fairly loose and the stick burns hot. The cigar is somewhat soft. I like a nice solid ash but this one is more loose and flaky. The taste is ok but gets bitter as as the smoke progresses. I'm hoping but not counting on my next 17 to be better with a little humidor time. I just finished a bundle of Consuegra Robustos and am now wishing I bought them again for right around the same price. 2 5 1

Robusto These are delicious cigars. That's why I give them a second star. Of a bundle of 20 cigars, 10 of them were rolled too tightly to draw. About half of those were as rock hard as a chair rung, and likely to split if I attempted to pass a long, slim needle through. My solution, to avoid high blood pressure, is to use my lever-arm tuck cutter to cut the overstuffed cigars in half, and smoke the two nubs. One of the cigars in this unfortunate bundle was so tight that even the half-cigar nubs were difficult to draw. What I find so disappointing is that I could tell if one was overstuffed just by touching it through the cello wrapper. Does nobody inspect these at the factory? 2 5 1
