If you love full bodied smokes this is for you. In my limited experience there are a lot of smokes that are mislabeled as full bodied without having much flavor. This however is a true full bodied smoke. Rich creamy flavor that goes great with a cup of coffee. I definitely recommend.

Bought a couple of these at the local B&M during an Altadis event after recommendation by the owner. The bite lessened about 5 minutes in. Great smoke output draw and burn. I tasted leather and spice. Good with bourbon. Wish JR had 5- or 10-packs.

Ok after my review of how harsh these were I put the rest in the humidor and just left them for almost 3 months. That really smoothed them out. Now these are still very strong sticks with tons of pepper and a helluva kick. But they aren't as harsh as they were right out of the box. I likely wouldn't buy them again even tho I like very flavorful cigars as they really just aren't my cup of tea. They are great looking and the burn and draw are both very good. I never had an issue with that part. If these seem harsh to you give them at least 3 months and they will smooth out. Intenso for sure!!

I was looking for a nice corona sized cigar for when I can't spend an hour+ on a stick. Got these for a steal and they were beautiful so I thought I had found my coronas. Boy was I wrong. Now I've been smoking cigars for a long time and I prefer maduros and flavorful cigars. I very rarely buy Montecristos and milder cigars. But to me these are beautifully made well burning CHARCOAL STICKS!! Holy cr@p I've never smoked a more strong harsh palate-frying cigar in my life. I had to laugh at someone else's review that said no bite because to me they are ALL bite!! And it's a good thing I only got the corona size because I can barely get through half of one before I can't take it anymore. A whole belicoso of these? Forget it. Maybe the batch I got was too fresh or something and they need to rest in the humi a while. But going by how they taste now? I won't be buying these ever again. These have not been enjoyable to me in the least. Four stars for consistency since they have been consistently harsh like charcoal.
