No. 1 Robusto This was the first My Father cigar I ever smoked and I purchased a 5pk of these from JR. As has been stated by other reviewers it is a well constructed cigar that draws well and burns consistently from stick to stick. That said the flavors were underwhelming for what's supposed to be a medium to full body cigar. It was fairly mild to me and undistinguishable. It's by no means a bad smoke but it's not a great smoke either. It's really a good entry level cigar into the My Father collection. Having said that I prefer the Le Bijou series over this as the cigars in that collection are more fuller-bodied and have more complex flavor characteristics. That said if you're looking for a good everyday smoke from the My Father series you can't go wrong here. 4 5 1

No. 1 Robusto The My Father that started it all. I'm now a My Father junkie and love this one. Beautiful construction perfect burn and draw. Like most of the line it hits you right away with pepper spice and earthy flavors. Once it has your attention it settles down to a delicious woody creamy smoke that has lots of different flavors and makes it a hard one to put down. 5 5 1

No. 1 Robusto There are a lot of My Father cigars out there by name or otherwise but this is the flagship. One thing to know before you get into anything from My Father S.A. is that they are strong and spicy. These are full-strength and full-bodied cigars to the extreme limits. Take that with a grain of salt though because one thing I've found with MF cigars is that this tends to mostly apply to the first and last third portions of the cigar as the middle usually relaxes in the strength department a bit to reveal a rich nutty creamy and flavorful center. It's like finding the creamy center of an Oreo cookie. Construction performance and quality are almost always top-notch with this cigar so no reason to wonder there but the flavors are particular and you really need to have the stomach to handle an in-your-face beginning and end. If you have the gut to get through those moments though then you'll be rewarded with a rich complex and elegant array of flavors and aromas. 4 5 1
