Our first cigar featured in January’s Cigar of the Month pac is the Aganorsa Leaf La Validacion series. This new budget-friendly line is a re-brand of what was once Casa Fernandez.

Terrence Reilly of Aganorsa Leaf says the “Validacion” series is inspired by people always needing to give an excuse as to why they should sit back and enjoy a cigar. There is no need to “validate” themselves to have a cigar when they can enjoy a cigar for the simple fact they want one.

The 6 x 54  new La Validación Series is a full-bodied gem that has a Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper while being bound and filled with tobaccos from Nicaragua. Our next cigar in January’s Cigar of the Month pack comes from Drew Estate! The Undercrown came off the heels of the success of Liga Privada back in 2009. Liga Privada was such a success, that factory employees at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Nicaragua had to figure out how to keep up the demands of the production of this gem of a cigar.

Unable to keep up production of the Liga Privada, the team at Drew Estate put their thinking caps on and boom, the creation of the Undercrown came to be in 2011. Ever since then, Undercrown cigars became a staple for Drew Estate, as well as a go-to cigar in most consumers’ humidors.

With a San Andres Negro wrapper, the Undercrown Gran Toro features Connecticut Habano tobaccos for the binder and tobaccos that hail from Nicaragua and Brazil for the filler portion of the cigar.
