Ferio Tego Timeless Sterling

Formerly known as the Nat Sherman Timeless Sterling, Michael Herklots, former Nat Sherman employee and current brand manager of Ferio Tego has reintroduced this line under the Ferio Tego this past year. The Ferio Tego Timeless Sterling still features the tobaccos that were in the Nat Sherman blend. The only difference is in the changing of the guard when Herklots founded Ferio Tego in 2021 after leaving Nat Sherman.
Hailing from the Dominican Republic, the Timeless Sterling is cloaked in an Ecuadorian wrapper, while featuring tobaccos from its homeland for the binder and filler. Some delicious flavor notes you’ll detect while smoking the Timeless Sterling from Ferio Tego are cashews, cedar, citrus zest, earth, and honey.
This medium to full-bodied 4.75 x 50 smoke will make its debut for JR Cigars in this month’s Cigar of the Month pack that is currently available.
H. Upmann Barbier Toro

Our next cigar for May’s Cigar of the Month selection is the H. Upmann 1844 Barbier. The Barbier features a dual wrapper in the style of a “barber pole” commonly seen outside barber shops. This is the first time the H. Upmann brand created this style for one of its lines.
The wrappers featured in this cigar are Sumatra and Connecticut Shade wrappers. For the binder, the Barbier featured tobacco from Indonesia. When it comes to the filler tobacco utilized in this 6 x 54 Toro hails from the United States, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.
With so many different tobaccos used to create this medium-bodied gem and dual wrapper leaves cloaked around this gem, you’re bound to have a handful of flavors coat your palate. Some flavor notes the Connecticut Shade wrapper will provide are leather, cedar, and cream. When it comes to the Sumatra wrapper, some flavor notes you may detect are chocolate, earth, and black pepper.

The third cigar on our Cigr of the Month list for May also hails from the Dominican Republic like the aforementioned cigars is the Macanudo Gold Label! Named the “Gold Nugget” due to its 4.50 x 60 size is a perfect nickname for this mellow-bodied gem from Macanudo. This short and stout cigar is perfect for a 40 to 45-minute smoke session in case you’re in a rush but still want to enjoy a premium cigar from a well-known company.
Cloaked in a Connecticut Shade wrapper, the Gold Label from Macanudo features tobacco from Mexico and the Dominican Republic for the binder and the filler portion of the cigar. This mellow-bodied cigar features smooth and creamy flavor notes that are a treat to your palate. Some flavor notes you’ll detect while enjoying the Macanudo Gold Label are baking spices, buttercream, cedar, earth, and toast.

This Nicaraguan puro with a reddish hue Corojo wrapper is a scrumptious cigar that belongs in your collection ASAP!
Formerly known as Casa Fernandez Aganorsa line, the company rebranded with a very interesting and important message for all cigar smokers out there and the message is simple. You do not have to validate yourself or talk yourself into enjoying a cigar.
