Introducing Our Top-Selling Nub Cigars
When Nubs were first introduced from Oliva in the 2000s, many thought they were a passing fad. In fact, these short yet very fat cigars seemed ridiculous and were thought to be more of a gimmick than a serious release. However, as history has shown us, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Nub Cigars have become as iconic of a brand as I’ve seen. They are among the best-selling cigars in the country and can be found on the shelves of cigar shops everywhere.
Some might be confused by the full Nub portfolio, as there are quite a few of them in different sizes. So with that in mind, I’ve decided to put together a list of some of our best-selling Nub cigars. This list will help you navigate the plethora of Nubs and find the perfect one for you.
Nub 460 Connecticut
If you are looking for a mellow option, the Nub Connecticut is perfect for you. Crafted using aged Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos, along with a silky smooth Connecticut wrapper. It is rolled into the signature 4X60 size that was made famous by the Nub brand. Notes of light cocoa, creamy and hay combined for a super creamy and flavorful smoke.
It makes sense that this would be the best selling Nub. First, as many of you know, mellow Connecticut cigars are among the most popular in the industry. Combined that with a unique size, great construction, and a solid price point, and you have yourself a winner.
Nub 460 Cameroon
I’ll be honest, Cameroon wrappers are not usually on the top of my list. However, there are a few Cameroon wrapped cigars that I can really get behind. They include the RoMa Craft Baka, the H.Upmann Vintage Cameroon and of course the Nub Cameroon. This wrapper in this blend and size just really hits.
The cigar is handcrafted using Nicaraguan tobaccos from the Oliva farms. It is then cloaked in this toothy and flawless Cameroon wrapper. Notes of nuts, leather, earth, and a dash of spice come together for flavorful and robust smoke.
Nub 460 Habano
One of my favorite aspects of the Nub line is the versatility and the wrapper options provided. Each blend brings something unique and special to the table and offers up something different for each palate preference. Next up is the zesty and flavorful 460 Habano.
Rolled in the legendary Oliva factory, this smoke is crafted with Nicaraguan tobaccos and a dark brown Habano leaf. Notes of wood, cream, pepper, and leather are delivered with each puff. Habano wrappers are one of the most widely used for fuller-bodied cigars, but this one really stands out.
Nub 464 Maduro
While to the uninformed, Nubs only come in one shape, one of the most popular lines actually comes in a beautiful, torpedo shape. The 464 size is a torpedo that comes in at 4 inches long and a 64 ring gauge. Out of all the torpedo Nubs out there, the Maduro is among our most popular.
Along with Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos, this smoke is covered with dark and oily Brazilian Maduro wrapper. Each puff will be accompanied by notes of sweet spice, oak, dark chocolate, and espresso. If you are in the market for a big, dark, and robust cigar, look no further than this.
