Unlike most of Rocky’s blends, the Grand Reserve uses top-notch Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos. Although the specific tobaccos used for the wrapper, binder, and filler have been kept secret by the Manufacturer, the Rocky Patel Grand Reserve was expertly blended at the TaviCusa Factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. Some flavor notes you’ll detect while smoking the Grand Reserve are wood, roasted nuts, cocoa, toasted bread, and sweet spice, which would pair nicely with a whiskey on the rocks.
