In Episode 135 of the Long Ash Podcast, Nick is joined by special guest Rafael Nadal. Rafael, the Head of Product Capability for all of Altadis USA, stopped by to discuss his recent collaboration with us here at JR Cigars for the JR Pure Origin Gran Vulcano cigar.

With Rafael producing some award-winning cigars such as 2019, Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua, we thought it was only natural to want to collaborate with him and his brilliant style of blending.

Rafael also was able to give us an insight into his 25-plus years of the craft from a small-time blender to his massive products today with Montecristo, Romeo, H. Upmann, and Aging Room; From the art and artisanship put into not only the blending but size configuration of all products that bare his name, to how he enjoys a cigar compared to working on cigars.
