Virtual Herf: Sebastian Decoppet from Cavalier Cigars

In this week’s episode of our Virtual Herf series, we have Sebastian Decoppet founder of Cavalier Cigars. Cavalier Cigars is a swiss based company that moved to the States in 2018. These cigars are elegant and delicious.

The ‘White Series’ the company’s flagship line, features a Habano wrapper, Connecticut binder, and aged long-fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Notes of cream, wood, cocoa, and fruit, provide a very enjoyable mellow to the medium-bodied smoking experience.

Black Series cigars, Cavalier’s second installment, is a medium-bodied blend of top-quality Nicaraguan and Honduran long-fillers and a Brazilian binder, covered by an oily, dark brown San Andrés wrapper. Every fragrant puff delivers highly complex nuances of cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and hints of spice.

Rounding out the Cavalier lineup is the Black Series II cigars that employ a San Andrés wrapper, a Habano binder, and aged long-filler tobaccos from Nicaragua. Another medium-bodied offering, Series II provides perfectly balanced flavors of pepper, roasted nuts, wood, and dark chocolate.

Sebastian credits Zino Davidoff that got him inspired to dive into the cigar world. With Zino contributing a lot of history to Geneva, the town where Sebastian was born in, it’s only fitting that Sebastian dove in headfirst to the cigar industry that eventually led him to live here in the United States.
