JR Quick Tips: JR Classic Auctions

What is a JR classic auction?

The JR classic cigar auction is a great way for you to save money on your favorite smokes. The site appears very similar to eBay, so it is easy to navigate and bid on cigars.

There is a huge list of cigars on auction that you can choose to bid on. It is important to note that for each cigar, the quantity is only one, for example, if the cigar comes in a five-pack, it will only be one five-pack.

Each auction runs for three days and the price is entirely up to you. When you want to bid on a cigar, you simply type your bid in and hope for the best!

How do you narrow the selection down to one brand?

If you navigate your cursor over “cigar auctions”, you will see a selection of brands. When you see the brand you’re searching for, you can click on it to view if that specific brand appears on the cigar auction site.

Whether it is a rapid-fire auction, classic auction, Dutch auction or free-fall auction, you will be able to see where your favorite brand is up for grabs.

How is the classic cigar auction site set up?

When you see a cigar you want to bid on during the classic auction, you will see huge amounts of information on the cigar, including size, shape, wrapper, filler, and the origin of the smoke.

You will also see the initial price of the cigar to see how much of a saving you’re about to enjoy.

You’ll be able to see how many of the smokes are available, the current bid, the time left on the bid and the number of bidders.

Do I need to have a JR Cigars account?

You will not be able to take part in any JR Cigar auctions without being signed into your JR Cigar account.

By having an account, you can keep up to date on auction information and whether you have won your desired smoke.
