Gobernador Toro AJ Fernandez makes both the New World and the Uncharted. I have smoked three boxes of the Uncharted before trying the New World. I'm a very big fan of the Uncharted and always have some of them with me when I travel. So the New World had a very high bar set for it by the Uncharted. The New World met that challenge!! I love the box press shape and the draw construction flavor and consistency compare favorably with the Uncharted. I would say the New World is perhaps a little stronger than the Uncharted but not by much. The wrapper is nice and oily like the Uncharted and it has a peppery/spicy taste throughout the length of the cigar. Bottom Line: I'm a big fan of the New World as well as the Uncharted. 5 5 1

Gobernador Toro Always a grand slam!!! This is our go to stick when you really want to enjoy a nice smoke without chances. Quality of construction makes you want to hold off before the burn just to admire it a bit longer. When you do finally fight it up you will appreciate that puff you just enjoyed will be the same as the last. This sticks consistency is a contributing factor to its cost, but again, when you really want to enjoy a nice stick without chances this is it!! 5 5 1
Gobernador Toro I don't know how he does it, time and time again. AJ has managed to blend another great masterpiece. Only gave it four stars due to about four sticks that split the wrapper. Probably a combination change of temp and humidity. All in all, great taste, smooth draw and the box press is growing on me. 4 5 1

I learned very quickly this guy new quality cigars and still go to him for recommendations. But anyways Burns even, nice taste, good draw. Gobernador Toro Pepper picks up in last third of stick, which is pleasant. Flavor is mild medium early, but builds. The flavor of the wrapper may be its weakest point. Built well. Doesn't burn hot, even in last third. Bought a box on sale and I'm enjoying them as one of my daily smokes. I would only buy another box when on sale, not because it's bad, but I just interested in trying different smokes. It's worthy of a try. I'm sure many may really enjoy it. 4 5 1

Gobernador Toro I got one in a "mystery" sampler. I generally prefer mild to medium sticks but this was a very pleasant smoke for a fuller strength cigar. Nursed it for about two hours over a few Heinekens at the club and never had to relight it or even touch it up. Burned evenly, the flavor was consistent the whole time, rich voluminous smoke. Flavor was nutty without being too strong, not very complex but pleasant. Smoked it to the nub. 5 5 1
