Herencia I initially got a couple of these in a sampler. Great looking Wrapper Nice Construction and firm to the touch. Nice burn and the ash stayed nice and tight. In fact they were so good that it prompted me to buy a bundle of these and I just finished the first one out of the bundle just as good as the other two. However I am puzzled I also enjoy the Trinidad y Cia which is also a mixed filler cigar but the Trinidad seems to get softer as it burns and the Rosa Cuba does not. Both cigars are crafted in Nicaragua but not sure of course if they are crafted in the same Factory. Overall this is a great everyday smoke. If you're looking for a great value priced cigar I highly recommend these. 4 5 1
Herencia Quite smooth and occasionally sweet. I like this brand for the money paid. 3 5 1
Herencia The Rosa Cuba in Herencia is a great stick! The body & flavors are good pretty good construction draw etc. Its certainly no Padron but its still a great stick. When you figure its a little more than a buck per stick.... you can't beat it! Excellent quality to cost ratio! Burn was pretty even and consistent and decent burn time for a mixed filler stick. Construction seems pretty good and consistent so far. Great option to keep in personal stock as a value stick when you don't feel like stoking up a more premium cigar & great to keep around for newbies that want to have a smoke with you or try a cigar. Definitely will keep some in my humidor 5 5 1
Herencia This is a good cigar! It’s nothing fancy but it can not be beat for the price. You can’t go wrong so give them a shot! 3 5 1
Herencia Rosa Cuba Herencia is a great bargain cigar recommended and enjoyed by many. 5 5 1
Herencia Love these cigars. Great everyday smoke at a great price. Great draw flavor and burn. 5 5 1
Herencia This was my first experience with the Rosa Cubas. For a mixed filler cigar it's hard to tell the difference in this and most premium cigars. Wish it they were a little slower on the burn but it's what was expected with a mixed filler. Great draw and smoke output. Great stick for an all day everyday smoker. Easy on the pallet and wallet 5 5 1
Herencia Good draw even burn solid ash. Not much taste. Tends to shed tobacco shards in your mouth. If you're a chewer don't buy it. This is a good give one to your pal cigar. 4 5 1
Herencia Pretty good everyday smoke. With the Skyrocketing Prices of the Romeo Bully this is an alternative but not quite as good. 4 5 1
Herencia Excellent smoke for the money. Great draw consistency and burn. Extremely pleased with this cigar. Will always keep on hand. 4 5 1
Herencia This is a very nice little stick for the money. Very consistent and one of the best bundle sticks for the money. Never had one perform badly. 4 5 1
Herencia Decent for the price. Cant go wrong for just over a buck a stick. Perfect for yard work or at work. 3 5 1
Herencia I love it enough to have the mille de fleur for a long smoke but the shorter herencia is great for when you have less than an hour and still want to enjoy a nice cigar! Don't let the mixed filler scare you the ash held on for over half the length of the cigar and never got any bits of tobacco in my mouth from smoking it. 4 5 1
Herencia Like many people in this forum I took a leap of faith and bought myself a bundle. I have to admit of all the ‘alternative’ cigars I bought from JR these are by far the best. But of course cigars preferences are very subjective. I personally haven’t had a bad smoke with these so far I haven’t smoke one cigar with a bad draw and not one has burned hot towards the end. While that can’t compare with my San Lotano Bull cigars they are the best morning cigar I have found so far and will continue to buy these on a regular basis. Yes I agree with most here they are quite smooth for the price are just the right size for a quick cigar and fit well on the budget. Yes I will be buying another bundle soon! 3 5 1
Herencia Not really impressed. I found them a lil to mild. Very inconsistent when it came to the draw. I actually threw 5 out because of the unsmokable draw. 3 5 1
Herencia A quality made budget cigar that has become a go-to pleasure for the afternoon or evening enjoyment. 5 5 1
Herencia Have always enjoyed these very reasonably priced sandwiched sticks. I keep them on hand in their own humidor. For a medium smoke they have a pleasantly distinct flavor and aroma. A great buy. 5 5 1
Herencia Not my favorite at all. Sorry guys . Flavor was to weak and burned uneven. Not bad for emergency 2buck cigar but defiantly not Monte or Romeo. 2 5 1
Herencia This is a good smoke for the money. There is a mild tobacco aroma and flavor. Little if any nicotine. Happy to report No Pepper. A nice everyday smoke. 4 5 1
Herencia Great go to cigar on a budget. Can't beat it. Mild-med strength. Good run for your money. 3 5 1
Herencia Cant go wrong with these! You get some Wood notes and some Cedar! Great for Humidor stuffer sticks and they get better with age! 4 5 1
Herencia Excellent cigar for an everyday smoke. Out of the multiple bundles I've smoked I think I had only 1 or 2 duds. 4 5 1
Herencia These were my go to cigar until the out of stock for several months in 2016. The new stock does not meet earlier standards. The smoke burned unevenly quickly and hot. I hope the quality improves to its original quality. 1 5 1
Herencia Love the Rosa cuba for all new smokers 5 5 1
Herencia Dollar for dollar can't be beat! Been smoking cigars for 20 years and have a little knowledge. These are mild cigars great for a morning smoke or just hanging out outside. Have yet to have one I didn't enjoy. Smoke it slow and it will last to a nub. Burn has been great and flavor is very consistent. Couldn't ask for more out of a budget friendly cigar! 4 5 1
Herencia I enjoy these as a daily smoke. I also don't mind sharing them on the golf course. They are good priced cigars that everyone is happy to enjoy. 3 5 1
Herencia Cant say enough about these they are really a medium to full strengthgreat Nicaraguan flavor perfect drawand all are consistent in flavor. 5 5 1
Herencia This is my go to budget stick. It's solid all around quality and a great buy 4 5 1
Herencia These are great cigars for everyday life. You can grab a bundle of these and save your nice Padrons for the weekend. These are great and my coworker actually prefers these to several other brands. It's not the best but it is consistent 3 5 1
Herencia I received a couple of these in the sampler pack.I thought for a dark cigar that was very goodvery pleasurable and I would definitely buy them again. 3 5 1
Herencia Surprised by this one. A little loosely packed. Nice draw plenty of smoke. Walnut flavor with a little spice especially in the second half. Ordered two bundles! 3 5 1
Herencia I'm basing this review strictly on my experience with cigars of a similar price-range. Now obviously these things won't hold up against a Fuente or AJ Fernandez but they soar above the competition for cigars in the same price range. In fact I've made Rosa Cuba Herencias my daily cigar of choice. For just over a buck a stick you really will not find anything that comes close to these. No the flavor is not complex but it is very pleasing and satisfying. Construction is spot on and the burn and draw are amazing for a mixed-filler cigar. I truly challenge you to find a better cigar for the same price. 4 5 1
Herencia Skeptical at first base on the price point but I heard good things so I bought some. The Angels great everyday sticks for nice weather lunch breaks during the week. 4 5 1
Herencia Good sweet tobacco aroma when the cello is removed. Pre light draw was good. Nice sweet and a little spicy. Subtle flavors of sweet tobacco and toasted nuts. Phenomenal value. 4 5 1
Herencia Smoke out put is great good flavor for the price point and a great stick just to burn when you don't have lots of time. 3 5 1
Herencia Excellent draw .Love the construction Perfect burn all around. just a real great smoke .any time 5 5 1
Herencia Such a good smoke for the price. They just ran a sale where i was able to get a bundle for less than a dollar a stick! Awesome yard gar or when you arent paying much attention. 5 5 1
Herencia The Herencia is just a bigger ring gage of the Rosa Cuba line. It's freaking great. It can absolutely not be beat at the price. Blind test you'd never know its a budget friendly cigar. Great flavors of earth light chocolate with serious notes of roast coffee. 5 5 1
Herencia These cigars are just downright good. Surprisingly inexpensive yet well made with good flavor and good draw. They are a great breakfast gar and also end of day smoke. 4 5 1
Herencia It was ok not bad for a cheap cigar......Good draw the cigars did not come with a humidifier pack. 3 5 1
Herencia For such an inexpensive stick this one has definately earned a permanent spot in my humidor. This is a great everyday just because I can smoke. While the flavors are not incredibly complex the aroma is reminiscent of higher end cigars. The draw while not always consistent is usually fairly open and the construction is usually spot on. I've had a couple with burn issues but that may have been due to storage conditions. (I made a booboo...) So in short I highly recommended this stick to the novice and veteran cigar enthusiast alike! 4 5 1
Herencia Based on others' reviews I went ahead and purchased the bundle. I am another satisfied customer! 4 5 1
Herencia This is a good everyday cigar at a great price made even better at the daily dutch auction. 4 5 1
Herencia Nice everyday cigar; would be nicer if JR could eat the shipping. 4 5 1
Herencia I first obtained some of these from a mixed assortment of cigars. I then bought a bundle. They are mild burn consistent and have a mild flavor. Good for the lawn or a quick relaxing smoke. 4 5 1
Herencia Good smoke a little harsh. No burn issues. I buy them often and call them my grass cutting cigars. 3 5 1
Herencia Great Smoke even burn and great taste and super price. I smoke them while doing chores around the farm. 3 5 1
Herencia Great little stick! I have probably purchased six or more bundles and have never found a bad one. Only wish is that I could find it in a 5.5 x 50 version. 4 5 1
Herencia I have a desktop humi with about 100 of these in it. It is one of the top3 i go to daily. Very good cigar. 5 5 1
Herencia Mild yet surprisingly rich flavor. Excellent draw for the price you will be hard pressed to do better. 4 5 1
Herencia It was a decent smoke. If not properly stored it will dry out very quickly and crack after smoking about and inch. Found cut meant it breaks up and leaves bits in your mouth. 3 5 1
Herencia I bought a bundle on a JR auction and was pleasantly surprised.I thought they had a good taste and burned evenly. The overall construction was good my only quibble is that then didn't seem to be a 52 ringa little on the smaller size.I will purchase more of these however. 4 5 1
Herencia Overall good smoke they have gotten better the longer they have been in my humidor. I picked up the 5 inch by 50 they are perfect for enjoying when your time is limited. 3 5 1
Herencia Great for short smoke! 5 5 1
Herencia Good smoke Don't be afraid of mixed filler It's great Draw is good taste is fantastic and price is cheap enough that if you have to hide it from your wife you can toss it over the fence !!!! 3 5 1
Herencia I have smoked about 5 of these bundles so far. This has become my everyday go to cigar. It's great tasting mild very consistent in burn draw and flavor. Very well made have not had one come apart on me yet. Nice little 20 min to 1/2 hour cigar for the money. I'll be buying more of them. 5 5 1
Herencia Excellent daily smoke, no complaints. Won’t know it’s not a long filler cigar unless you cut it wrong, nice medium to full taste. 4 5 1
Herencia A low cost good cigar 5 5 1
Herencia Great price for daily smoker. 5 5 1
Herencia Good smoke for the money 5 5 1
Herencia Not bad and not great. Has some flavor and make it a decent cheap smoke. 3 5 1
Herencia Considering I paid under $2 for each cigar, it’s not bad at all. It has a smooth flavor with subtle hints of earth and vanilla, and it’s not spicy (if you don’t like medium-full bodies cigars). It doesn’t burn as easily or evenly during the first 3rd as higher-end cigars. This makes it more difficult to draw on because you don’t want to burn the tar too quickly and ruin the flavor, but you also don’t want the stick to burn out. So you just have to watch it. Once you figure out the burn pattern, it burns more evenly during the second (although slightly tight here) and final 3rds. The body and consistency are okay. If you like to push the limits on long you can get the stack to be, this is not the cigar to try it with. But it has a nice grey hue and a decent aroma. To call the long fillers “luxurious” is a bit of a stretch. It’s a bargain cigar, so you get what you pay for. And it’s not a bad cigar. I just don’t think every stick in my box came with long fillers, let alone luxurious long fillers. All in all, it’s a good, bargain, everyday cigar. It’s been great to have on my front porch as the nights become cooler. I would recommend the Rosa Cuba Herencia. 3 5 1
Herencia Plaese have someone call me @ (862) 452-4062 5 5 1
Herencia APPEARANCE: Dark tan wrapper with minimal veins, tight seams, and a smooth body exhibiting an oily sheen. Tobacco fill is neither too tight or loose throughout the stick. It's a lovely stick - too lovely for a dollar cigar!! COLD AROMA: Nuts and sweet hay, making for a nice aroma. COLD DRAW: Being a mixed filler I opted to punch rather than cut the cap, which should prevent bits of the short filler landing on my tongue. The draw is perfect producing tastes of nuts and hay. PAIRING: Blend of Folgers Columbian, Java Time Arabica, Bustelo and Boston's Best Hawaiian Coconut coffee. EXPERIENCE: Lit nicely with a wooden match, exuding a good amount of smoke. The enjoyable flavors loaned a smooth creamy, nutty taste with some sweet hay that lingered on the palate. The burn was good for an inexpensive stick. It's a great mellow medium-strength cigar. I've had cigars that cost $10 which were less enjoyable than this gem. Definitely one of the BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK stick! I got the bundle of 20 for $22 from JR. Give it a shot - you'll thank me later :) 4 5 1
Herencia One of the best I have found. Good black tobacco taste and aroma. My fav. 4 5 1
Herencia Excellent taste, draw and smoke. Herencia’s are the best size to smoke everyday. The best cigar I have smoked to date. Great balance of taste, aroma, time and and economics. 5 5 1
