I had some cigars at the bottom of one of my humidors, which I bought from JR during the Cigar Boom (1996 to be exact). I thought I was smoking the Avo XO Intermezzo; creamy, floral, and leathery. About 4 months ago, I bought 2 bundles and smoked one right away as soon as I received them. It was quite unsmokable - harsh and bitter. After 4 months of aging, they turned out to be quite nice: creamy, buttery, earthy flavor. Make sure to age these cigars for at least 3 months before you smoke. I plan to age another 6-8 months before I smoke these delectable Remedios.

I have come to like the Remedios brand. Nice flavor and pretty consistent on the construction. Pick these up when they are on sale and you really can't beat the value. Minor flaws at this price is to be expected.
