Robusto I am somewhere near my fiftieth stick and in my experience there is very very little to complain about. If I had my druthers I'd like to see it hold an ash a little longer but I would not give up the smooth draw just for that. The flavor is just in the middle without being a typical tasteless Dominican but yet not so strong that you want to put it down before you've nubbed it all the way down. 4 4 1
Robusto Very flavorful cigar that is good anytime. I really enjoy these. Burn is a little bit uneven at times but overall it's a great smoke at a great price 4 4 1
Robusto Ref. My review on 5/3. Cigar that they substituted is actually called 1878 Capa Sungrown. Good look finding them under PDR cigars on the JR website. Had trouble giving them away but after my golfing buddy had a few I unloaded them on him. need I say more. 1 4 1
Robusto Auction bidders beware! Three times (yes I know stupid me) I have won a pack of 10 on the suction. THREE times I was sent the Habano Especial. All customer service ever says is sorry we are out of that item. So why put it on the auction then send a sub WITHOUT informing the customer.Heard of “bait and switch”. Now you have! As long as I have been a customer you would think I would receive some form of compensation for being screwed over three times. Bid at your own risk! 1 4 1
Robusto Taste is not for me. Like grass. Poor construction. Will not buy again. 2 4 1

The pride of the famed Pinar del Rio, PDR 1878 Reserva Dominicana Robusto, in packs of 20, features the best qualities a Dominican cigar has to offer. Made from all Dominican Criollo, Corojo, and Habano tobaccos, that burn slow, with thick billowy clouds of smoke and complex flavors of chocolate, chestnuts leather, and tangy spice notes after each draw. Whoever thought that all Dominican cigars were mild and bland, obviously never smoked a PDR!
