Super Toro I spent time this weekend imagining how fantastic this smoke must be.. I wouldn't know personally because my order was never delivered even though I received a "your order has been delivered email". I emailed support and then after no response I called support who was going to "look into it" but have yet to hear anything at all. No doubt it is the good ole USPS fault here (they "left it on porch"- of a business during business hours). Regardless, I have no Toro story to write about here. Maybe one day. 1 5 1
Super Toro Starts-out mellower than its smaller ring siblings; but as the smoke progresses, blossoms into a rich medium-full bodied flavor with complex & well-balanced notes of earth, leather, sweet spice, cocoa, caramel, & cedar. Great loose box-pressed construction, draw, consistency, & relatively even burn; with a firm & uniform, white/gray ash. The dark reddish-brown, Mexican Rosado Oscuro wrapper has a fine toothiness and is expertly finished. A true premium cigar that's well-worth the price of admission. 5 5 1
Super Toro Word the wise- Don’t use a v-cutter. It requires a stronger draw. Decent construction otherwise. Ash is consistent and hangs on like a professional rock wall climber. The flavor is good but not great. In flavor profile it’s reminiscent of the La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor. Between a tough draw and the lingering leathery aftertaste on my palate this cigar is a cut under other similar cigars like the My Father De Las Antillas, Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua, and Alec Bradley Prensado. 3 5 1
