Robusto Ordered 2 five-packs of MXPLR5 on 10/6/20, and received promptly. Handsome and flavorful, but construction was widely variable, and approached dreadful, with irregular burn patterns, canoeing, channeling and no ash pattern. . Seems like apprentice day for the roller, and unworthy of Montecristo's brand,. 2 5 1
Robusto As much as Montecristo talks up how great they are, I expect their cigars to be perfect. At least I expect them to smokable, but the draw on these is so impossibly tight that they aren't. The blend seems good, but construction is poor. 2 5 1

Robusto I received from JR three of these cigars as part of a 12-cigar Montecristo promotional bundle, which came complimentary with a purchase of a box of some other Montecristo brand cigars. This robusto Platinum has a very enjoyable flavour, of the medium strength, stopping just a bit short of going into the "full-strength" territory. Smoking time came out to around 50 minutes, which is quite reasonable for a cigar of this size. Construction was flawless. One shortfall that I experienced with these cigars was that one of the cigars had a disturbingly uneven burn and required multiple touch-ups. As I mentioned, I did not pay money "directly" for these robustos, but would say that a fair value of this sigar is around $5 imho. 4 5 1
Robusto I enjoyed the cigar straight through the entire stick. It was smooth and balanced. I had no issues with the draw on mine. I like a stronger cigar. I considered it a medium strength. 5 5 1
Robusto I got five of these as part of the Memorial Day special bundle. This well constructed cigar was hard to keep lit and had an old taste to it. 4 5 1

Robusto Got a good deal on them , found the close to perfect construction and consistency paired with nice mild flavor great for my morning routine of coffee. I do get a few that are packed a bit tighter than the other but the flavor makes up for it. I’d recommend them for new smokers or if your looking for a milder clean flavor profile with a bit of sweet great tobacco flavors. 4 5 1
