Robusto Interesting that JR’s would say there’s “Brazilian” tobacco in the filler. Not so sure about that. If JR’s knows something I don’t, then it has to be a touch of (Brazilian) Mata Fina, but...from my research, fillers are actually comprised of Dominican, Nicaraguan and Peruvian, the latter giving it the delicious flavor profile you won’t find in any other Mac. This cigar is one that I’m constantly drawn to because of the smooth flavors, excellent from first light to last puff. If you’ve never had a Crü Royale, you’re missing out on a great stick. Medium bodied, perfectly balanced, with an aroma that will keep you coming back for more. 4 5 1
Robusto I've had two. One was a really good smoke the other was a dud.. I've had this problem with the cru and the cafe. When I smoke a cru I expect a super smooth medium bodied smoke. The dud was a harsh full-ish taste of rough tobacco 3 5 1
Robusto I enjoy all of the Macanudo line. The cru is a bolder flavored cigar over the cafe line. I enjoy these at my desk after lunch and later in the day. Smooth smoking easy lighting and a nice flavor profile. 3 5 1
