Cabinet No. 100 When I learned that these came from the Fuente factory I wanted to give this a try. The first two inches were almost without taste and began to doubt my purchase. But then came the build and it turned into a delightful smoke. Still I prefer a Fuente. 3 5 1
Cabinet No. 100 My experience with this cigar is that it is a middle of the road handmade. Flavor is kind of bland for me and it's hit or miss between batches on consistency never a horrible cigar but not one if give my boss lol. I like them for yard gars and for fishing. Great price point for a premium and I don't mind when I can't finish one. Still a good cigar though. Nice ring and length combo I'd buy them again. 3 5 1
Cabinet No. 100 Let me start with I prefer a full flavor cigar with that being said this is a great mild - mild medium cigar with no construction issues enough positive aspects to keep me interested good cigar for the mild to medium smoker 5 5 1

Cabinet No. 100 Way back in 1995, the behemoth (particularly for the era) La Unica No.100 natural received a very strong 90 rating in CA. Being a lover of Churchill, Double Corona and “A” size cigars, it became a regular Saturday afternoon smoke for me. I laid down 4 bundles in the bottom of my humidor and some 20 years later, am just finishing up the third bundle. (3 sticks left!). Like so many giants of the era, (Romeo y Julieta Monarch, Cuesta Rey Cabinet No.1) these big sticks are out of favor - but unlike the previously mentioned vitolas, are still available. Later reviews were not as kind to the 100, but my recollection is that the flavor profile; sweet Dominican tobacco, literally sugary, with a citrus/orange peel essence and really no bitterness at all remained the baseline through later releases. Considering that a giant piece of wrapper leaf was required to make these 8.5” long cigars, they still chose some exceptionally nice Connecticut shade to wrap these beauties in. Being a bundled cigar, the shape wasn’t always perfect - lumpy heads, crushed/boxy foot. That said, the impeccable Fuente factory construction prevails and these sticks ALWAYS burn perfectly. Always. If you’re able to set aside the 2hrs needed for this stick, enjoy textbook Dominican tobacco flavors and want to smoke a classic from the “boom” era, pick up a No.100, I think you’ll be glad you did. Recommended. 4 5 1
