Toro After reading the reviews I get it! The longer they stay in the humidor the better they are. Not perfect not even great but they are just OK. will not be on my regular radar. 2 5 1
Toro 2 out of 12 showed promise but continued tries just got nasty. All the remaining sticks smelled soapy or chemical and now reside in never again land. If this was just a bad batch... ??? I'll never invest another $50 to find out! 1 5 1
Toro As suggested in other reviews a third week in the box made a large difference. I still detect a slight soapy aroma but definitely not a deterrent to smoking it fully. I will not trash them and imagine I will find them pleasant enough to smoke or offer fellow smokers. A little problem yet with shedding the wrapper but in defense of that I'm in a desert climate with very low humidity. Occasional light sharing of a honey liqueur to loosening areas of the wrapper keeps the problem in check. Overall I might give them a low 4 rating and won't be part of a frequent flyer user. 3 5 1
Toro Tried 6 to date over first two weeks of receipt. Will give them a burial without notice after they rest for one more week but not hopeful. One smoked and burned like a tree hit by lightning. They all had a laundry soap smell while smoking. 2 were so bad I chucked them quickly like the tree. Mostly the others seemed way to loose and one insisted on shedding its wrapper like a snake. Overall a huge disappointment. I'd like to try their Principes torpedo natural when it comes available. Until then I'll keep going to my Principes Palma natural from other sources. I am looking forward trying other selections from JR but currently have five humidors over filled along with a couple alternate non humidor containers. Working on more usage and sharing to get back to manageable amounts. 1 5 1
Toro So I waited 3 weeks for the cigars to finally. Settle down I'm glad I did great choice. Now these cigars smoke & taste like they should. Smooth sweet peppery creamy goodness 5 5 1
Toro My kind of cigar not too mild. Slow burn enjoyable smoke 4 5 1
Toro The principles by la Aurora is a very good second cigar to smoke. However the dark wrapped outside sometimes comes up heart and leaves a lot of black pieces in your mouth. So as far as I'm concerned this will be the last time I ordered the cigar. I'm not saying it's bad I just enjoy not having pieces in my mouth 3 5 1
