JR Ultimate No. 1 Good everyday smoke. I came back to my old favorite JR Ultimate No 1 after Oliva Flor de Oliva’s jumped in price ($10 a bundle). Good draw good flavor medium strength and consistent throughout bundle(s). For me priced right at about $2 a stick. 4 5 1

JR Ultimate No. 1 Great every day or weekend smoke. I get mad if I don’t have these, ask JR, I send a request asking where are my cigars. My only complaint is, 9 out of 10 times they are perfect. Once in a while I get a batch that are bad, mostly the wrapper falls apart or there are a lot of twigs blocking the flow. Other than that they taste great, burn even and don’t leave a strong cigar smell afterwards (my wife disagrees). 5 5 1

The difference in taste and construction leaves me pining for my old favorites. Construction could be better, too. Once in a while, you'll get a crunchy, loose wrap, or even a split wrapper. However-- not as good as what I REALLY wanted which were the MADURO versions of the JRHMS3--JRUL13--JRPUC3--JRPUG3 or the JREX13 which i REALLY like but YOU are consistently out of.
