CAO Maduro Robusto Loved this JR Alt from the first stick. I have mostly Connecticut wrappers in my everyday humidor and wanted some variety. Very glad I purchased these as they are becoming my go-to smoke. I enjoy them until I can't hold them between my fingers. Gave one to a coworker and he was hooked instantly as well. Went to reorder and they were out of stock guess that means I'm buying multiple bundles when they show up again! 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto I was smoking these about 6 months ago and they were an amazing value one of the best alternatives out there. Then they went out of stock for awhile. This latest shipment is definitely not the same smoke not as good but still a decent value. 3 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto I like to chew on my cigars before i smoke them to get that nicotine rush These hold up well and are a pretty smooth smoke.. I do get some uneven burns but at this price who cares! 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto a good smoke if you can keep it lit set it down to turn aa page in a book and it goes out very soft construction lots of leaf stems. Would not order again. But will stick with the Remedies Don Victors. You gets what you pay for but not in this cigar. 3 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto When I ordered these the offer was buy one bundle and get a second one free. The shipment contained only one. JR's CSR said oh we ran out. But JR continued to promote with the promise of a second pack free. This is annoying. Too bad JR can't honor its promise. 1 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto My wife and I were on a trip to St. Petersburg FL and I decided to stop by a local shop and buy a cigar. When smoking the wife asked to try it. She fell in love IMMEDIATELY and is now a cigar connoisseur. Unfortunately it was a Padron 1964 Anniversario Presidente at $22 per stick. She is now a regular smoker and I have been on a quest to find something that tastes almost as good at a fraction of the price. We have a JRs a short distance from our house so we went shopping. I didn't by these at that time but later ordered them and MAN!!! These are 1/10th the price and will become a permanent part of our Cool-i-dor. They have a great taste and you can't beat $2-ish per stick. The draw can be a bit inconsistent but really who can bi^%h about that at this price. 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Won't lie. Was expecting a slightly bigger cigar. But I liked it. If I can find one just like it but bigger I'll buy it . Until then my new daily. Considering the problems I've had with another JR Alternative I was pleasantly surprised with this one 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto I smoke all sorts of cigars nothing really high end; I have a friend who travels regularly to Cuba and he picks up some for me when he's there so Cuban sticks are in the mix. This short Maduro is one of my favorites. The flavor is slightly sweet with a nice full depth and the burn is consistent from one stick to the other. I smoke several of the JR Alternatives and these sticks hold their own with the name brands but at a much more affordable price. Oh and I've never seen better shipping out of any company period. 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto While this cigar is not a bad smoke and possesses good flavor it has to be classified in the full/ harsh body range. I definitely favor medium body smokes so this could be hardly listed among my favorites in the CAO family i.e. Italia Brazil's and the former Sopranos. That being said there is some good smoking with this stoggie to about 3/4 of the way down. Stay away from the robosto length and do yourself a favor with a Toro or larger. 3 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto This Jr Maduro robusto is a fine smoke. His design well and his just taste good. I love a good Madero and I keep going and smoke well for me. The consistency is perfect and it's just a great cigar. Will buy more of these every month. 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto First I'm not a fan of box pressed and even though these came in a bundle you could tell that they were box pressed somewhere down the line. The draw starts out fairly tough but ends up being OK. It's a bit bolder than a CAO and it doesn't have the flavor of it's namesake either. About the only thing I can say in its favor is that it is consistent and has a good construction. But remember you get what you pay for. 3 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto This is a good cigar for the money hard to tell much from real CAO Maduro Robusto and price is great 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto This cigars are my favorite unfortunately every time I go to order them there (sold out) so I'll order something else and will not enjoy as much . I hope you will be get them in soon. 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto This is my favorite cigar I order them when I can but most of the time they are sold out and I have to order something else and end up likeing 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto The best thing about this cigar is the flavor. But the draw is very inconsistent from Stick to stick wont stop me from buying them again since the stick the has a good draw its usually very consistent and the flavor just makes up for all other flaws. And we cant forget about the price! 3 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto I found it just a little tight.. But over all a great smoke... I ordered 40 and will order another 40 to age in the humidor. 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto I have turned on many friends to this smoke. So...not quite as good as the real thing but as far as bang for the buck..way BETTER! I have not had any issues with draw and only 1-2 that started to unravel a bit at the cut. For $2 a stick these are a killer deal. I've ordered at least 100 of these so far. 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto The JR Alternative CAO Maduro Robusto is a good buy. This is a premium cigar at a great price. 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto One of my favorite daily smokes.I have bought atleast 10 bundles and have not been disappointed. 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto This is a great cigar for a short smoke. 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Not a bad cigar for the money sometimes they do not burn evenly but I would buy them again 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Great taste & feel 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Great smoke and have reordered. 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Very nice cigar for the price 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Great price And can barely tell the difference. Definitely love the real thing but sometimes u just wanna go a little cheaper 3 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto A good flavored smoke inexpensive smoke. A staple in my box. 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Again a pretty good stogie but not as good as the name sake. I have had several just finished one. Some have a good smooth draw but one was like drinking a thick milkshake through a thin straw. Hopefully the majority will be more like the others. 3 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto A solid stick at a heckuva price. Good goto back up smoke to keep in the humidor. Decently strong. Good construction. These will be a value staple for me 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto This is a great every day gar. It is close enough to its namesake it is often hard to tell apart. and the price is spot on. Gee I hope they don't raise the price after this review. 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Great ever day cigar. up there with the big boys and the price is right. Filler sometimes has stems but still good. 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto I like this cigar nice flavor nice burn. I need to get different size sticks though. I think I’ll try the Toro Negra 6x52 Maduro 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Very good smoke for the money. Very consistent with CAO quality and flavor. 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto This is a really good cigar! It has quickly become my daily smoke. I graded down on consistency only because the burn can be a little uneven at times. 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Good buy, flavorful and pleasant smoke. 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Liked them 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto I tried these for the first time not expecting greatness but I have to admit these are one fine smoke. I put them near the top 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto They were ok 3 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Not a bad smoke, it burns evenly has a nice flavor. Not bad for the price. These were a little shorter than what I expected snd more of a rectangular shape. 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto The Cuban inspired square pressed cigars take a bit of getting used to, but after molding the shape to a more smokable 'round' shape, the smoke is full and satisfying. Good all around dailies. 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Great cigar but for those who do not know this is box pressed. Be carefull to read the shape if you don't like boxed pressed cigars. Jr doesn't use the simple term box pressed. They use the technical term Parejo. Other than that it's great cigar. I prefer hand rolled round cigars. The correct term for them is Figurado. For round any way. a cigar can be round and machine rolled. 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Box cut, long filler...great draw....full of flavor. even ash, smokes really nice! 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Very nice cigar! 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Overall a good smoke 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto This is surprisingly a great cigar. It’s a box rolled body with good construction and perfect draw. Wrapper is a nice oily texture and well seasoned. Not very complex but a perfect overall backyard cigar with a great price. 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto These have been one of my every day smokes for a few years now and i really enjoy them. 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto Great smoke for the price! 5 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto This cigar has become my everyday smoke despite some inconsistent burning (touch-ups are frequent). They have a nice medium body and last just the right amount of time for me. 4 5 1
CAO Maduro Robusto This is an outstanding smoke. Great flavor and complex taste. Wrapped very well with perfect draw. 5 5 1
