Cohiba Behike Laguito No. 5 for a long time i thought these a good deal. the bundles would routinely contain 3 or 4 bad sticks but that was o k considering price. recently several bundles have contained nasty bitter-tasting cigars with too many bad-burning poorly constructed sticks . i have been a JR customer for many years and will continue so however i will no longer buy these particular cigars. had i submitted a review only not long ago it would have been very different in compliment. inconsistent product is not for me acceptable. my ratings are based on the bundle as a whole. some sticks remain good some very good. 1 5 1

Cohiba Behike Laguito No. 5 Okay it's not a Behike I've had Behikes and they're great cigars. But his is a good cigar for the money. Yep it's fairly full bodied but that's what I like. The flavor is also nice; I don't find it a bitter at all as some note in their reviews. Sorry I can't give a flavor profile like you see in reviews where a cigar is compared various nuts fruits and sundry other elements found in nature but I do know when a cigar is harsh bitter hot and generally unpleasant. I didn't find any of those things in this cigar and I'm on my second bundle. Is it a 5 out 5? Maybe only for price but it's easily a 4 for what it is; a full flavored throw-in-your-golf-bag cigar. 3 5 1

Cohiba Behike Laguito No. 5 The JR Edición Limitada Alternatives was once the greatest bargain in the cigar industry. But since Lew left the quality control has left also. Many cigars in a bundle have construction issues either the draw is too tight or they tunnel very badly. The ones in a bundle that are good are real good unfortunately half the cigars in the bundle are duds. so that means to get 20 good cigars you’d need to buy 2 bundles (that would come out to more then $100.00) for that kind of money you can buy a much more consistent smoke. I still buy them but only when JR is running a big discount on them. They use to be a great buy at full price i don’t buy them now unless I get at least 20% off. 2 5 1

The construction is nice and they arrived ready to smoke. Some relighting is required but not too bad. I've smoked 3 out of the bundle so far and the flavor has been consistent. Haven't had the real Behike so I can't compare this stick to it but I wouldn't hesitate to buy more of these. 4 5 1

Cohiba Behike Laguito No. 5 I ordered two bundles of these because I like the larger #6 so well and thought these would be just as good but not take an hour to smoke. I was wrong because these are pain in the butt to try to smoke. They are rolled way to tight to get a draw. You have suck on them until your eyes roll back into your head. Then they start burning very uneven which is also a pain. Maybe I just got a bad lot of these that were made by inexperienced roller. I don't know but will not order again in the near future. Cohiba Behike Laguito No. 5 If I took the band off and told you this cigar costs $12 per stick, the only question you would ask would be where I got it? I can’t compare this to a Behike because I have yet to smoke one but I’m 1/4 through a 20 pack and these are very enjoyable for an everyday smoke without breaking the bank. The wrapper is a bit oily which draws attraction to the look of this cigar and as for the construction, I’ll say that these are well made. As for the flavor and complexity, I’m picking up a little bit of black pepper, leather, cocoa and hints of coffee (in that order as the cigar gets shorter). This cigar burns evenly with a firm ash that’s on the darker side. Perfect for an everyday smoke or something to give to guests who like to smoke other people’s cigars haha. 5 5 1

Cohiba Behike Laguito No. 5 The JR version of Cohiba Behike Laguito No. 5 is a regular for me. I smoke between 3-5 sticks daily, this one is usually one of them. Very well constructed, burns slow. I lit one at 3am this morning, finished at about 6:30am. I had to re-light it a few times but I smoked it slowly too, it lasted me around 31/2 hours. I seriously smoked a premium Padron yesterday, that lasted around an hour. Without the band, I'd never would have known the difference between the premium or the JR version of Cohiba... I'll continue to buy them 4 5 1

A 60 ring is easily pressed in half for about 15 of a 20 bundle. It used to be a pretty good cigar and enjoyed the draw all the way through. The shame is I have been buying 5 or 6 bundles at a time, which is now a rip off. I remember Lew cutting the cigars in half to check the quality. no more Lew, no more quality. 2 5 1

If you like fuller bodied cigars, you are in for a treat. With the J&R cigars, I always find one per 20 pack with a tight draw that's easily remedied with the proper tool. Two per 20 pack have an issue with the wrapper getting unwrapped two thirds of the way through the cigar, but they are still smokable. 4 5 1

Cohiba Behike Laguito No. 5 I was surprised how good this one was. i allowed 1 day to stabilize in my wineador at 64 degrees and 69% humidity. had one today and so far it is burning good. good construction. good draw. even burning. the flavors are delicious! I get a creamy coffee, cocoa, nutmeg, leather taste from it. not too strong with the nicotine. I like that because I can get sick if I have a longer size cigar. I'd easily place this one up there with some 10 to 15 dollar cigars I've had. Not up to par with a Padron 1926 but very good from what I've experienced with this 1 cigar. 5 5 1

The last bundle had several cigars with the wrappers that exploded and/or had stemlike material in the filler. I keep them in a humidor at 72 and will continue to buy these cigars as long as I don't get too many of those bundles with issues. I'm opening up a new bundle tonight.
