Xikar X-Treme15-Cigar I had been looking at a better way to carry cigars on my boat. I had a small sleeve that could *maybe* fit 4 cigars in it, which obviously isn't enough for a long day on the water. I debated getting this one vs. the 10-cigar box, but I frequently take extra sticks with me for others on the boat, so I decided to go with this one. So far, this has been quite a good way to safely carry both cigars and accessories (cutter/lighter). The box seems well-constructed and it has several nice pieces of foam that I believe do a great job of protecting my precious sticks! Some cons: • I'm not sure this box is really capable of carrying 15 cigars. There are 3 layers possible (between 4 pieces of foam), and I can fit 5 across on each row, but I'd be a little leery of putting 15 of my cigars (normal size is about 5x54) in the box. Seems to me like it might put too much pressure on them. The most I've put in at one time is 12, with a couple of them being small. Perhaps, if I only kept 2 of the pieces of foam, it could fit, but that takes away a little of the protection factor, too. • Being out in the sun for a few hours, the label on the top of the box warped and I ended up pulling it off. I don't care about that, so it's not a con for me, but don't be surprised if the sun does a number on the label. The box seems unaffected, though, which is what I care about. 5 5 1
