Executives This has been a favorite for a long time. Of this batch a few were difficult to draw. One was so difficult I threw it away so lower marks for consistency and construction. That said I will order more when there is room in the humidor since these inconsistencies are unusual for this brand. Same great flavor and even burn for the well-made majority. 3 5 1

Executives My friend and I had tasted Hoyo Executive twice together. Amazing medium to full flavor at the beginning and nice draw all the way but the flavor was getting bitter and bitter as it burned to the second half. We both felt the same way twice and gave them up when they turned bitter. 3 5 1
Executives OK. I reviewed this same cigar on 11/10/15. At that time I only gave it 2 stars. However I now realize what went wrong. I love these sticks and they are truly consistent and have a fabulous aroma deep chocolate complexity at the end and nice draw. However they need humidor time. So I bought a bundle of these sticks unwrapped them from the plastic wrappers and placed them into my humidor. I waited until they started to produce a nice plume. These things are fantastic now. Not a five but a solid four stars—and everyday great smoke for the price. But I wish I could grab the maduro Executives and not the EMS. 4 5 1

Executives Excellent cigar! So why 2 stars? This is normally my go to cigar. When I want to relax and not guess where the next hour will take me I pull one of these out of my humidor. I am very very hesitant to give this an honest review as I just purchased a 5 pack and the first one I couldn't even smoke! It was obviously way too moist as I thought I was going to break my jaw trying to suck in. I was devastated. It still had the same great aroma just couldn't smoke it—so I had to throw it out and light up my last maduro excalibur. For that reason I am giving it 2 stars. But if this were another site and the same cigar it would be 4! 2 5 1

Executives I have been trying call brands of cigars for a few years now in my price range. Under $4 per stick. For me the Hoya de Monterrey is best suited for me. Great flavor, good burn and a reliable 1-1/2 hour smoke. I take this time to read and have a refreshing beverage. 5 5 1

Executives The Hoyo is simple a lovely cigar. It's the cigar to smoke when you don't want to smoke a cigar. It looks impressive it's mild with no lingering stale after taste it has a nice smell both lit and not there is a true hint of cocoa powder. You will have enjoyed this cigar before during and after smoking it. I'd say if the next one is as good as the last one then I have found a new friend. Cheers 5 5 1

I salvaged some of the cigar by cutting off large portions of the cigar and smoking what was left. I like the smoke but these cigars were in terrible condition. Executives I bought about a 100 of these based on the price. I expected them to be the same as the other Hoyos selling for more. They have the identical description with no warning that these are crap. Out of the 100 I probably got 5 good smokes. The rest either fell apart after 1/4 inch of burn or started burning from the side half way down within seconds of lighting them. I understand not expecting much from a cheap cigar but when it is advertised the same way as better cigars and being a long time customers I thought I can trust what I’m buying.
