1999 Condessa Shaped The Condessa is an absolute great cigar. They have a very good draw even burn a long and pretty ash that hangs around for a little bit and the flavor it produces is awesome. The medium to full body smoke is right out of Cuba. A leathery woodsy taste with a touch of pepper combines a perfect smoke to finish off the evening. Pour a bit of 12 year old Scotch sit back and enjoy. That's what I'm doing right now. Yessss! 5 5 1
1999 Condessa Shaped Very slight sweet tip. Smooth. I am tasting cream & cashew. No pepper. I would buy these again 5 5 1
1999 Condessa Shaped Well they arrived well packaged and have a great aroma and taste and you can't beat the price for well aged tobacco great deal 4 5 1
1999 Condessa Shaped I absolutely loved this cigar. Sometimes the wrapper may rip a little but it is a 19 year old cigar. The flavor is mild and just like a hot soft pretzel. But in a good way. Lol. Very consistent and a must have especially when it is on sale. Highly recommended. 4 5 1
1999 Condessa Shaped I see a lot of complaints about the draw of this cigar. It took me awhile to figure out that when you snip the end you need to take a good half in or so off it. Once I started doing that every one of them had a perfect draw. And yes. the shape does make a difference. It helps concentrate the flavor without letting it get tarry or overly bitter. Last summer I purchased 4 ten packs and fully enjoyed them with one of my cigar loving friends. You do understand that these are vintage cigars that are 19 years old and you can bet that JR has aged them correctly. I would venture that the lion's share of you smokers have never and will never have a chance to smoke a well cared for well aged cigar like this again. Buy them while you can! 5 5 1
1999 Condessa Shaped The Hoya is a nice even smoke but I would not get the condessa again. Felt like I was smoking a cigarillo. 4 5 1
1999 Condessa Shaped Read many reviews of this cigar and after buying two bundles I think it is just misunderstood because this is a fantastic addition to my humidor. The construction and burn are flawless on every one I had and the mellow taste is complex and enjoyable. A very reflective smoke. 4 5 1
1999 Condessa Shaped My package of 5 arrived too hard and dry to smoke. I had to borrow another cigar from a friend and put my cigars into the humidor to hope for the best. 1 5 1

1999 Condessa Shaped First cigar was diffidently dry with the outer wrapper cracking where the cigar was being handled. Not impressed. I have added this to my humidor and will age some more with adequate moisture to see if they can be salvaged. 2 5 1
1999 Condessa Shaped Felt strange in the hand. Kind of heavy on the head end. I guess because the foot was so narrow. Decent flavor but glad I didn't pay the full $7 retail price. 3 5 1
1999 Condessa Shaped Very good cigars The aging does wonder for all great cigars an the price is right. 4 5 1
1999 Condessa Shaped These cigars were a good long smoke not too strong very ordinary. I thought the wrappers were a little uneven 3 5 1
1999 Condessa Shaped Maybe the worst cigar I have ever smoked. May never smoke another Hoya. Draw was almost impossible with a harsh flavor. Cigar fell apart. 1 5 1
1999 Condessa Shaped Very good flavor consistent draw Good value for the money an ace in the hole Something to be proud of . 4 5 1
1999 Condessa Shaped Easy draw was the first thing I noticed. I've always enjoyed the Condessa shape. Smooth taste came after the 1st. 1/2 in. and continued until the finish. 3 5 1
1999 Condessa Shaped Get the band off these so it doesn't bother the wrapper as the bands are a bit tight. simply remove it before smoking it. Good tobacco taste very consistent taste profile slight hints of cedar and earthiness. its a good smoke. I cut most of mine in half so construction hasn't been an issue. Its a mellow smoke with good tobacco taste. A few have had very tight draws to them yet they are not spongy. 4 5 1
