No. 660 First off the price is hard to beat; yet you still expect the cigar to be a decent pleasure to smoke. Smoked 7 of 15 sticks and each one had some kind of flaw. The most disappointing was how the wrapper peeled off like a bad sunburn. On one stick it began to peel off as soon as I cut it. Each stick developed runners mouse holes canoed or tunneled. Having been critical the smoke in and of itself was pleasant ad gave off a lot of smoke. 2 5 1

No. 660 The flavored were a very pleasant surprise with these big dark beauties. The burn was very uneven but I think they just need to be reconditioned in my humidor for awhile. Four out of the five were hard. If they get better with time they will definitely be a repeat purchase. 4 5 1

The all star cast in order of appearance: the price the newsprint packaging the color the rich aroma the size the draw the dark leathery richness of the Maduro wrapper the abundance of smoke and there is no band to fuss with. No. 660 These cigars are trash. They arrived dryer than a desert and the fall apart as you’re smoking them. I even stored them in a humidifier and they were already so far gone to save. The bitter taste that floods your mouth is sheer torture. 2 5 1
No. 660 I am not sure JR sent me the wrong cigars or the description on this cigar is wrong. The wrapper is NOT maduro, rather Corojos / EMS. Pros: it burns even and I feel that they used long fillers? Easy Draw. Cons: not much flavor, but slight leather and earthy flavor. Not eneough filler tobacco? It's very loose and not much smoke. It keeps going out if I don't draw every 5 seconds. 3 5 1

No. 660 I hate to mention price but it's the elephant in the room. At msrp it is a value. It is very close to a 5 star caveman brand. With pretty band and a cool name I would be fooled and buy at a premium price and come back for more. Great flavor. Burns more even than most of my premium big rings. I know I'm asking too much but really an 8 out of 10 for the 1st 2/3rds compared to other premiums. It does get a little soft and sharp at the end but by then the expectation is so high it makes me want perfection. I bought 2 5 packs and think I'm ready to commit to the 50 pack. I did notice the Placencia name and I have been a huge fan of the flavor of their less expensive products and there is a huge price chasm between those and the name brand products. Even the rejected tobacco is magic. If you like a big full flavor cigar do yourself a favor. 4 5 1
No. 660 I really loved the JR alternative Partagas 1845 Gigante but since I gave it a great review, before I loaded up my humidor, they bumped up the price and have never offered these at a deep discount again. So being a daily cigar smoking enthusiast I looked for an alternative to the JR Alternative! That path lead me to these beauties. This is a very pleasant medium bodied smoke that is absolutely wonderful right down to the nub. It will have you digging through your "college days" box to find that old roach clip so you can smoke it all. The chocolate notes predominate but are well balanced with notes of cedar and a little sprinkle of pepper. This is a great cigar and at this price it has become my daily go to puro. I loaded up the truck on these before I wrote this because I fully expect that JR will price this baby to the moon in the very near future! 5 5 1

No. 660 5 nation blend cigars are usually called Anniversary Editions. Is dark Madurai are well rolled and densely packed. Get the maduro wrapped over the EMS I would suggest. Buy enough to age in a large humidifier and some to smoke right off. You will wish you had bought more. 4 5 1
No. 660 Upon opening the shipping box I observed the sticks enclosed in a ziplock bag. Contents were impressive "Benched packed" using pages of Honduran newspaper dated from 2019. Of course, individual sticks are encased in cellophane producing a classic Hondo flavor, with a white ash. Solid 4 stars for a 3 dollar cigar. 4 5 1

I happened on the Honduran Factory Corojos, and have been pleased with both the flavor and draw. Often the more economical choice will be lacking in one or the other. So far, this cigar has been consistant from one to another - we'll see if that changes. A good smoke, with a reasonable price. 4 5 1
