Polo I bought a five pack. After the first smoke I was hooked. I bought 10 more 5 packs. H upmann now is my number one go to smoke in my humidor. I plan to buy more as long as they are in stock. Excellent smoke. A smoke you will never forget. 5 5 1
Polo Purchased a 5-pack. Was very impressed. Great smoke smooth tightly packed great taste. I had to have more. I subsequently bought another ten packs of five. I would have purchased a box but I saved about 40 bucks buying the 5- packs. It goes directly into my humidor anyway so I did not need the box. Now it is my number one go to cigar. 5 5 1
Polo This Upmann is a very well constructed smoke with satisfying flavor. While I did enjoy the cigar it tends to get a bit harsh toward the end. 4 5 1

Polo I tend to favor the cedar wrapped sticks from several premium brands, as the cedar just smooths and enhances the flavor experience. This H Upmann Polo is arguably one of the finest cedar wrapped cigars that you will find anywhere. The long, slimmer ring lonsdale makes for an easy light, steady burn and great draw, and consistent flavor from tip to band (or longer).It gives off just the right amount of smoke, and has a delectable understated aroma (my wife says it smells good, not a stinker cigsr, lol). Also, there is no harshness, and a nutty cashewy taste that is light on the palate, without any false sense of sweetness..When done, there is no lingering after taste, just anticipation of smoking the next one. I must add that this Polo goes well with any chosen beverage, but it seems to relate exceptionally with an accompanied Bourbon w/wo Coke. It's a sweetheart of a smoke, you must try the Polo, you will not be disappointed. 5 5 1

Polo I've smoked the polo for decades. This is the first time that I had trouble with the draw. I suspect they have inexperienced rollers presently. I had to use an ice pick from both ends to improve the draw. This is not what is expected with a premium cigar. 3 5 1
Polo Of the last two five-packs, only 2 cigars had decent draw, the rest were plugged. For me this is the last straw. I am giving up on Altadis brands completely. They all have the same problem: inconsistent construction. I am tired of fighting with them and cutting them in half to get a halfway decent smoke. Sadly, it's time to move on. No more Upmann, Montecristo, Don Diego, Henry Clay, Romeo y Julieta. Done with them. 2 5 1
Polo The Polo size is a bit cloying, due to the wrapper leaf flavor overpowering the taste from the filler and binder. Construction was very good, smoke delivery perfect, but the taste was rather odd. While I would smoke these if I didn't have any choice, the After Dinner and Crown Imperial are better choices. Inconsistency in all Altadis cigars will doubtless render the construction details meaningless, since they change box by box. I still smoke them because I'd rather smoke an inconsistent and poor-tasting Dominican cigar, than the most perfect-smoking Central American. 4 5 1
Polo I gave this beauty a try and was impressed. From the unveiling I noted the elegance in appearance and enjoyed the complexity in aroma and taste...I can only describe as a slight burnt cocoa at the end. Only setback, as noted in previous reviews was the draw is a bit lacking due to possibly the ring size....however it was fully packed with quality tobaccos and sometimes that is the end result. Overall, I enjoyed it and will reorder soon. 4 5 1
