XO These are really great cigars for the money and I will likely buy again 5 5 1
XO Bought these in a 5 pack and DEFINITELY should've saved my money. First two completely split in two at the cap when I punched them. I sent them back. I let one marinate in the humidor for a month and FINALLY got to smoke it without it splitting. Problem is it started badly canoeing literally immediately. Can't get a good burn. Taste is mediocre. Just all around disappointed. Never again. On a positive note...JR made it right and refunded my full purchase price with shipping. 1 5 1
XO Had gotten Black Rose once before and they were a good even burn and smooth. This time won a JR Auction they should be ashamed sending this pack of 25 out. Crown came off and fell apart as I was smoking them. Hoping my humidor can save them! 1 5 1
XO There are so many Gurkha cigars I get confused...I really liked this one..a lot of flavor and good to the last drop...spicy and nutty.. 5 5 1
XO I'm usually a fan of all things Gurkha but I'm sorely disappointed in this one. Had some construction issues that lead to an uneven burn and no flavor at all. 2 5 1
XO The Black Rose has a cool skull wrapper nice caramel color and does burn nicely. Make sure your humidor is in good shape with proper humidity. Let is reset there for a few weeks. Overall it burns nice and clean ok flavor and great value...give it to the random friend that comes over for a smoke :) 2 5 1
XO This thing is the perfect size for me and I'm able to get the time and flavors that I'm looking for every time 4 5 1
XO I've had just a few out of the box so far and they have been burning quite hot. I haven't made it all the way through an entire one yet. Well made though in the sense that it is fully wrapped. 4 5 1
XO Better than most Gurkha's I've had but nothing to write home about. Not bad at all 3 5 1
XO The Black Rose may be in the top 2 of the worst cigars I've ever had. The only good point was its draw. The flavor was matalic and it smelled like burning cardboard. 2 5 1
XO This is a great offering from Gurkha. It's light but not too light. It's got a great draw and it's complex yet very simple. Not a bad smoke at all. 4 5 1
XO It's a Gurkha. It's called a Black Rose. Sounds like it should be dark and strong maybe even scary. But it's a light mild cigar pretty well made and affordable. 4 5 1
XO Worst cigar I've ever had! I'm a huge Gurkha fan but this one constantly went out had to draw on it very hard just to keep it going with little to no smoke. I got a 5 pack. Hopefully the other 4 are better! 2 5 1
XO SLOW BURNER NICE SIZE THE CROWN CAME OFF THE 1ST ONE I'VE SMOKED & they were very dry when I got them!! 2 5 1
XO Black Rose is a wonderful smoke! I started smoking cigars just over three years ago because my three pack-a-day cigarette habit was killing me. Madoros were the best. Three years later I still like a good dark Diesel or a Black Op that has been sitting in the humidor for a couple years but I tend to lean more toward a nice Conneticut these days and the Black Rose is great! The fact that they came with two HUGE Gurkha coffee cups and five dark oily sticks was just a bonus... 5 5 1
XO I read about this cigar and unless I just received a very bad batch I cannot understand what the reviewer was thinking..... I tried and failed to finish 3cigars....i want to give the rest away but must warn the recipient first!! 1 5 1
