No. I Have been smoking Excaliburs for years. Great appearance well constructed. Nice even burn throughout however did not hold a long ash. Draw is even throughout as well. I don't consider myself a connoisseur. I can't tell you about all the nuances of the tastes as to whether it has a nutty or peppery taste etc. I know what tastes good to me. This cigar tastes good to me. It is also my wife's favorite cigar that I smoke. She likes the smell. Worth the finger burn. It is as advertised a medium strength cigar. Purchased through JR Cigars it is a great value. The consistency from cigar to cigar is very good. For what it's worth I recommend this cigar 5 5 1
No. I Love them, been smoking them for 50 years 5 5 1
No. I So I am a hdn fan since I tried the double corona. I thought the Excalibur was it or similar so I got the natural and the maduro. I wasn't impressed w the natural..subtle taste and maybe I didn't let it sit long enuf. So I was hesitant to try the maduro..OMG it's a good cigar. Starts nutty and sweet and I thought it would be more mild like the natural, but it kicks in during the second half and u can feel it being a little more peppery w coffee and Earth..the mild sweetness and nuttyness go away and u left w a medium to full. But it sneaks up on u. Overall good cigar 4 5 1
No. I Pollo de Monterrey Excalibur number one is a very enjoyable and flavorful stick. You'll find notes of creamy mocha and leather with a zesty finish 4 5 1
No. I A true 4 star cigar. I prefer the lighter wrapper as it has a spicier flavor. This cigar is sized to please. The ring gage keeps the flavors alive without bitter notes from burning too hot. The earthy flavors are great. Draw is good. Have had some clogging 4 5 1
No. I Very flavourful smoke on the retro hale. Had to touch up once at end of first third. Didn't care for the oily leathery taste of the wrapper 3 5 1
