The best of the bargain sticks!

chiph on 04/04/15

I've tried out many bargain cigars, and I'm pleased to finally find one that really delivers. I've been through about 30 so far with very few uneven burns. Great flavor and draw. Just the right size for me, and JR's price is the best.

Great Everyday Smoke

Paul Carusso on 04/27/15

Nice, flavorful stick, very smooth. For the money, nothing beats it.

SMOKE UP

Titleist87 on 07/15/15

Great smoke. Start to finish, very easy draw, lots of smoke, stays lit for a long time. Great tasting all the way through

Daily Smoke

ckwishmeier on 07/16/15

I generally smoke one or two of these a day, over 100 so far. Only one cigar began to unravel slightly. The taste has been consistent with a spicy touch, a tad bit of bite which seems to be true of Nicaraguan cigars in general.

Great Cigar!

JD on 09/15/15

I had one of these the other day. When I lit it it up, it started to burn a little bit funky right off the bat. So I start thinking "Well, here we go again with another inexpensive cigar" But after about 6 or 7 puffs it evened itself right out. It had probably one of the cleanest, razor sharp burn lines all the way down. Very strong holding, white (with a little grey) ash. Pleasant and VERY consistent taste throughout the whole thing. Normally when I get to the end of a cigar I am ready to put it out and throw it away, but this one I wanted to keep smoking even though I was burning my fingers trying to get the last few puffs out of it I could. I honestly could not say enough good things about this cigar, not even taking into account the good prices on it.

A Great Consistent Stick for the Price

chiph on 04/13/15

I discovered a great $2 Toro stick (unlabeled) while I was working in Miami and have been looking ever since to find the same quality and price. This is it! I've tried about 50 so far, and the quality is consistent. I keep more expensive sticks in my humidor (for guests and my occasional indulgence), but I take great pleasure in the value that these sticks represent. JR has the best price, and I like doing business with a NC company.

Great Value!

Ironbutt1345 on 02/23/15

I'm a long time Flor de Olivia fan, but the local B&M's seem to have quit carrying them. When I saw JR' s price, I had to jump on it. These are great, flavorful smokes, although I must say they are a bit stronger than I remembered. A great all around smoke that you'll be proud to turn on your friends to. I'll probably try the Gold next time, as I prefer a tad milder cigar, but glad to have made this purchase nonetheless. Highly recommend!

Flor de Olivia Toro

mcabro on 09/02/15

An excellent bargain priced cigar that starts and finishes well. Not particularly complex, but for the money, this is about the best name brand bargain cigar out there.

Average

Not much bad to say about it. Most are consistent. Some of the wrappers have a lot of sugar, not a big fan of that. Very mild cigar. Burn is usually good. Only have had a few that got harsh towards the end. When that happens it just gets tossed and i move on. I never leave a cigar alone once i lite it so if it does go out from my experience it's telling me to toss it. Draw can be a little tight on some. Out of all the cheap cigars i have in my humidor when i want consistent i grab this one. Have yet to have one come unraveled. No canoeing. Maybe one that tunneled.

A good value

goliard on 02/25/15

They are reliable, flavorful, consistent and affordable. My only criticism (and it is a slight one) is that the draw is a bit loose.

Creamy and smooth

TERRANCE22196 on 04/14/17

Flor de Oliva cigars are value-priced beauties from Gilberto Oliva and family, crafted from Dominican and Nicaraguan long-leaf tobaccos and a robust and satisfying Sumatra wrapper. After aging, the end result is a flavorful, creamy blend - rich and creamy without the bite.

Go To Cigar

SailorJon on 05/22/17

When other cigars fail I can go to this mild cigar and relax with a nice Irish. I have found very few that were unsmokable such as a tight draw. Overall a reliable, consistent smoke with a good but mild flavor.
