Principale El Rey del Mundos have long been a favorite of mine Cuban & domestic but this El Rey knocked my socks off put my feet up stretched my back out and let me enjoy an even better El Rey than I have ever tasted. Could be my new 2nd favorite as I just bought a box of Chupacabra's from JR also 5 5 1
Principale I am a fan of the El Rey’s and a bigger fan of the nicaragua version. For some reason these are rolled too tight in this order. I even try to roll the end to loosen it up. 4 5 1
Principale Good everyday smoke 4 5 1
Principale rolled well good burn good flavor most of all it is the most consistent cigar I purchased in a long time 4 5 1
Principale Always dependable; tasty; well made; good draw 4 5 1
Principale The first one I had burned unevenly but otherwise a great cigar. I like the gordo but this size isn't bad either. 4 5 1
Principale Another great cigar from ERdM: great give to the touch even burn long ash deep & intense flavor and perfect freshness. JR Cigars could easily save themselves a fortune in cigar inventory and only sell the ERdM line of cigars. You will not need or desire any other cigar after smoking this one or any other stick from ERdM. 4 5 1
Principale Really well constructed. Excellent burn and smoke aroma. Very flavorful. Recieved faster than schedule. 4 5 1
Principale Quickly become one of my go to brands. Not too much spice and consistent smoke at a good price 5 5 1
Principale I really enjoyed this smoke. The draw was good and the taste even better. I will be ordering more of these. 5 5 1
Principale It’s a gem especially with time. Word word word word word word word word word... 4 5 1
Principale A very well constructed solid cigar. A little stronger than the regular line but very solid and burned for a long time with excellent burn and draw. You need some time with this cigar. I really enjoy the El Rey line and this is a very good cigar in the price range. 4 5 1

Principale I absolutely love the Honduran ERD line. So when a great deal came across to pick up some 10 packs of the Nicaraguan Reserve line in both Robusto and Principale (Toro) size, I picked up 4 of each. Now, normally I would not buy 4 boxes worth of untried cigars, but, with the excellent track record I’ve had with the Honduran line (almost 25 years and nearly as many boxes!), I thought it was a safe move. Imagine my disappointment so far as these smokes have just not lived up to the legacy. I have a large, active humidor holding thousands of cigars, and I’ve been smoking these regularly over the four months I’ve owned them. They are in perfect condition at my preferred 65% - 73*, and have had plenty of time to “relax”. Every single cigar has required hands on attention to help the wrapper keep up with the filler. The cigars are rolled well, and draw great - so it’s not a loose/tight draw issue. The wrapper matches JR’s description: thick and oily, which is normally a great thing - but maybe these are TOO thick & oily. The flavor, while not as robust & pleasant as either the Reserva Salado or the Robusto Larga, is still pleasantly tangy - if a little metallic. The ash is bright white with flecks of grey and crumbles at about an inch. Unlike the Robusto size in this line, the Principale has yet to show much improvement after almost 4 months in the humidor. Fortunately I’m a patient man. I’ll slowly work through the remaining 3+ boxes, but will not likely order again unless these cigars show a marked improvement. Not a terrible cigar by any means, but not recommended. 3 5 1
Principale Excellent value but draw was only average and burn was uneven. Flavors were full and solid. 4 5 1
Principale At first I thought it was A maduro, the wrapper was so dark and oily, but this is a darkass EMS and very nice one. I'm glad to see ED is producing A more powerful smoke, a bit more on the earthy side with A mild balance of other flavors. All in all A damm good smoke. 4 5 1
Principale Very smooth medium flavors Burns clean Produces nice even smoke 5 5 1
