Robusto The packaging makes this cigars seem like it's something special book the batch that I had could have been a dollar fifty smoke. I was disappointed for sure with the cigars had I paid regular price for them I would have sent them back! But even at under 3 bucks of smoke they were really awful. Again maybe it was just the batch that I had but I wouldn't suggest these to anyone they tasted like tree bark mixed with the back of a bum's dirty shoe so maybe you'll have better luck but I can tell you for a fact that I would never buy these again. 2 5 1
Robusto After reading the reviews about this stick I was really excited about getting these. When they arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the humidor that I got for an extra $25. That puppy holds 100 cigars and it's quality built. The cigars have been great so far. I got this as a Father's Day gift so they need to rest in my new humidor for a few weeks. However I just had to smoke a couple. After toasting it properly I had no problems. It's a rich creamy smoke with notes of chocolate wood and leather (kind of reminded me of the way Onyx used to taste) but then that spice note kicked in. Very nice! I drank some Maker's 46 with the ones I smoked and that was a great combo. I am already planning to order another box of these next month. This is a great everyday smoke that doesn't smoke like an everyday cigar. I recommend these babies and if you still can jump on the humidor too! 4 5 1
Robusto Unreal for the price! Not a big Honduran fan but this is so smooth and creamy that I just can’t resist it. JR describes this stick perfectly… Coffee chocolate molasses etc. Do yourself a favor and always have a pack of five on hand! 5 5 1

As good or better than many that cost $10 and up this cigar consistently is well rolled has a good strong flavor that lets you know you're smoking something of substance and burns perfectly. Robusto Been looking for an everyday cigar. Serendipity!! Received these as a promo with other ERDM cigars I purchased. Although only 5 inches in length I get 1 1/4 hours out of these cigars without relighting. Draw is easy and consistent burn is slow and even and very flavorful with a light draw and without puffing like with less expensive cigars. They are too good to not take time out and sit down for a good smoke. 5 5 1

Robusto They must have sent me a box of ringers because my experience is nothing like these reviews. The wrapper is veiny and dry looking and has wrinkles and knots. The caps are wrinkled and loose with corners sticking up. The cold draw and sniff are neutral and the only taste I can pick up from the smoke is like a tin can. On a positive note although roughly half have had a very tight draw the burn is even and the ash is a beautiful pale gray That's not enough however to get me to buy them again. 1 5 1

Robusto This is a good cigar. It is bold and strong yet still smooth. However I find it to be a bit one dimensional in its flavors. Yes it has coffee cocoa leather tobacco and some sweeteness in the oscuro wrapper but somehow it always becomes a bit boring going into the last third. For the price though you can give it up in its last third and still come out ahead on the value factor for this cigar. Enjoyed several times with coffee iced coffee and a bit of cream scotch and rum. 4 5 1

Robusto I am not a fan of the toilet paper wrap around the cigar. It dried out the outer skin and began crumbling and falling off as I smoked it. A very tasty cigar. Nice draw. Burned even until about the halfway point, then started to run up one side. I loved the flavor and strength, but I believe that tissue paper wrapped around the cigar dries out the outer layer of skin causing the problem. I've considered removing the paper and leave them open and in my humidor for a good amount of time to moisten the thin outer skin more. It's too bad to. Because this is a pretty good cigar other than that. 3 5 1

Robusto To me the El Rel Del Mundos hsve been a very good cigar over the years. Reasons: consistency in taste and construction. It's not a mild cigar, but it isn't so overwhelming strong (or green) that it makes you nauseous. It always happens when I like a cigar I get disappointed down the line as I get a box that's basically green (unaged) or the flavor is way different. Not with these. Not too tight, not too loose in construction. Just good. 4 5 1

Robusto Fine construction, draw, & burn, with a firm, white ash. The medium-full body flavor is as described, with a pleasantly rich aftertaste. (This is after 7+ months of aging and not having smoked one fresh.) I‘ve smoked quite a few of these, from various purchases over time. All have had dark brown wrappers, not ‘licorice-black” nor exactly “oozing with oiliness”. Still, they’ve had that sweet, thick Oscuro flavor, and every one’s been a fingertip-burner. 5 5 1

Robusto I expected more from this cigar. I enjoy reading how the cigar is blended, bound, and wrapped and then trying to taste the flavors the description says I will find at different points in my smoke, from beginning to finish. I don't taste dark chocolate, coffee, etc., per the description. It does have a sweet tea flavor throughout though, and it's pleasant enough. It also burns well start to finish, just isn't what I expected taste wise. 3 5 1

The first third is chocolate and nutty, second third the flavor of spice comes out with a deeper nutty flavor, the last third is straight spice and a rich full taste.
