Condado Full disclosure: While I smoke cigars (many, many cigars) of all strength and flavor profiles - and have done so for decades, I have been blessed with a palate that really enjoys cigars on the mild end of the spectrum. For me, there is nearly the same level of complexity in a quality Dominican blend wrapped neatly in blond Connecticut shade wrapper as a much more robust Nicaraguan blend wrapped in an oily dark leaf. Nearly... Which brings us to this gem of a cigar. I was fortunate to have the foresight to lay down a number of boxes and sizes of the 1994 Vintage range series. While they never received very high ratings upon release, they have aged beautifully. The name Dunhill and “perfect construction / perfect burn” are practically synonymous. When new, the cigar yields toasty notes, fresh parchment, a touch of vanilla and nutmeg along with a tinge of sour grape. (No, really.) Two decades + of proper aging send the tastiness through the roof, darkens the flavor profile just a bit and sends the sour note towards the champagne spectrum. The ash is bright white and this series would be my top contender in a “long ash” contest. Absolutely superb example of how complex a mild cigar can be. Classy, delicious and eminently well behaved. Worth treating yourself! 5 5 1 May 11, 2019 Stogie3786

Condado 6 × 48 DUCOT
A thin toro, the Condado gives you a high-end mellow experience in a box of 10. It uses aged Dominican and Brazilian tobaccos, which make it exceptionally smooth and give it a nice even burn throughout. It has a pristine and creamy Connecticut shade wrapper, which creates a mellow smooth smoke with a hint of a nutty taste.Read more
