Lonsdale With the Padron Series Maduro in what now seems to be chronic short supply, I searched far and wide for an alternative to augment Padron Series in my rotation. I tried all the leading Nicaraguan and Honduran Madurese, and this one is the best. It doesn’t taste exactly like Padron Series, but has its own unique flavour that is excellent. Unlike Padron Series, though, most of these aren’t smokeable upon delivery. Only about 5 are. The other 15 need time in the humi. I remove the cellophane and break the band to hasten the process. About 5 per week become ready to smoke. I smoke 6-7 cigars a day, incl. ideally 2 of these, so I order 2 boxes at a time to have enough smokeables on hand at any given time. Having said that, it’s a tiny inconvenience for cigars I enjoy nearly as much as the insanely great Padron Series. I hesitated to write a review this glowing because I fear a shortage of these might develop. However, I noticed it had only one review with 3 stars. This is so contrary to my own experience that I decided to try to ⚖️ the Scales of Justice. Let me know what you think of them. 5 5 1
