Medium-full bodied with rich, flavorful, & complex notes of earth, leather, espresso, spice, sweet citrus, & cedar. Excellent construction, draw, & relatively even burn; with a firm, white/gray ash. The dark brown & oily, Broadleaf Maduro wrapper has a fine, emery-like toothiness, is seamless, & expertly finished.

Picked up one of these looking for something new. I'd sampled the Gordo Extra while traveling last month, and was struck by how much more flavorful this was in a smaller size. The Toro Gordo was spicy, Agree with the reviewer before who commented on the cedar and sweet citrus notes. Nice, white ash, even burn with no need for touchups. Would characterize it as more full-flavored. Would buy again.
