I'm almost exclusively a short corona/half corona smoker daily, and I first tried this shorty about 6 years ago. I was immediately a fan. Full-bodied, loads of leather, pepper and a soft undertone of some really silky black coffee (dare I say JBM?). The aroma is fantastic, and for those of us who seldom have 90 mins to sit and savor a Churchill, this is one of the very best cigars in this size format; bar none. This Davidoff is well worth the price tag if you want a short corona that fills the time beautifully, as well as the needs of an experienced palate that prefers full-bodied Dominican flavors and aromas. Try it with a single malt or a good, bold Chianti. Sublime.

This is the second box of supposedly Davidoff I received with the seal broken. The cigar is no more than a shortened version of a Griffins #500. Don’t get me wrong. Griffins are good cigars but I thought I bought Davidoffs.
