1958 Prominentes I always come back to this cigar for a daily release to the land of I dont care. When smoking this cigar my head leaves town and relaxes to my happy place. 5 5 1
1958 Prominentes Amazing cigar. Firm roll great flavor lots of smoke. Tacky name but this cigar beats out many name brands in general 5 5 1
1958 Prominentes very mild and pleasant smoke smoked 3 of the 5 pack and each has a good draw held to gather well I will buy these again 4 5 1
1958 Prominentes An excellent cigar with a distinct taste unlike any other cigar I have smoked. These cigars are regulars in my humidor! 5 5 1
1958 Prominentes These are delicious. Basically like smoking a sweet mug of hot cocoa. The first one in the pack had a slightly loose flimsy wrapper but the second was perfect. Hoping the rest are just as well constructed but the flavor blows my mind every time. These are quite literally delicious. They make me feel like I am about to storm Havana after months in the jungle! 4 5 1
1958 Prominentes I'm fairly new to serious cigar smoking and I have been trying all kinds and sizes. I found this cigar to have a good flavor perfect draw and burns evenly. Some of the other brands I bought have the wrapper falling apart and either too much draw or not enough. I will be buying a lot more of these 5 5 1
1958 Prominentes My favorite by far! Consistent plenty of easy draw smoke mild-to-medium but very flavorful. Wish the price would stop rising as consistently as the smoke though lol. 5 5 1
1958 Prominentes I've only smoked one so far but I was impressed with the taste and flavor from the start which remained consistent throughout a long smoke. Definitely has a Cuban taste without any bite. 4 5 1
1958 Prominentes This cigar is no wimp. The bold flavor and stout nic-kick are one of my favorites. I'm really a fan of this one. 4 5 1
1958 Prominentes Have ordered tons of these and will continue / 3boxes of 50 will last maybe 6weeks in my circle of people that enjoy them when they arrive. All who smoke them enjoy them. 5 5 1
1958 Prominentes Enjoy them very much. I also ordered the Gordos and they are not smoking as well many do not burn evenly they tend to leave one side unlit. 5 5 1
1958 Prominentes Great Cigar. My Monthly order. Keep them in stock JR!!! 4 5 1
1958 Prominentes Very good smoker been smoking this cigar for a very long time 5 5 1
1958 Prominentes At least they could have had some Dominican tobacco mixed in to get it closer to the 'real' thing. As is, just another Central American job. 2 5 1
1958 Prominentes My only complaint was the burn was off 3 times had to correct and draw became snug on final third 3 5 1
1958 Prominentes I really enjoy this cigar. second time buying 5 pack and will buy more. 5 5 1
1958 Prominentes Excellent. Very surprised how great a cigar this is. Ordered some more right after I smoked this. 5 5 1

1958 Prominentes A good stick. I like a large cigar for the golf course and this fits the bill perfectly. 4 5 1
1958 Prominentes Great smoke for the price. Good flavor but has occasional run to contend with. 4 5 1
1958 Prominentes excellent 5 5 1

1958 Prominentes Great smoke for the price. 5 5 1
1958 Prominentes I know everyone thinks, "Nothing is better than a real Cuban". Well, firstly, that is overrated. Second, Lew and crew have managed to make a Nicaraguan that rivals any of the overpriced, overrated brands out there. I have been buying cigars from JR for over forty years. I think I know a few things about cigars. I have been buying the Prominentes since they were introduced. The value you get of 50 cigars is unbeatable. Hands down. They a re fairly full-bodied smoke that can get you through most of the day. This is not a quick after dinner cigar. It is meant to last. The flavor is superb. I don't go for all the chocolate, nutty, honey, BS terms. It tastes good, doesn't get bitter at the end and stays consistent throughout the entire cigar. The best news is that it does that cigar after cigar. I have quite literally smoked well over 2,000 of them. Consistency is the name of the game. The only thing I don't like is when I go to re-order and the system tells me that they are OUT OF STOCK. I feel like my heart stops. I then become crazy and keep checking every day. Well, my fellow smokers, I figured out a hack for that. I order 2-4 boxes at a time just to make sure that I always have them on hand. Yes, I have invested quite a bit of my money with JR Cigar, but I wouldn't have any other way! 5 5 1
1958 Prominentes A good cigar at a fair price. 5 5 1
1958 Prominentes I smoked these for years and they were my favorite, but no more. The last several boxes have been loaded with problems - too tight draw on about 70% and almost every one tunnels. The quality has gone down considerably, yet with every order the price has gone up. At one time they were worth the money, but no longer. I'll not waste 200 bucks on a box of cigars I'll have to toss out because they're unsmokeable. One other observation, within the small percentage that are smokeable the majority of those have no flavor. Out of a box of 50 you'll get a small handful that are smokeable and have that stronger body they used to have. I witnessed the same decline in alts a few years ago. It's a shame what they've done to this cigar line. 1 5 1
1958 Prominentes I have had good cigars. These have become my favorites. Love the sun grown wrappers. Full of flavor, good draw, even burn. Worth the money. 5 5 1
1958 Prominentes how can you not take advantage of this great deal for one of the best cigars out there 5 5 1
1958 Prominentes Excellent flavor. My everyday cigar since Lew first introduced them way back! Good draw. And economical, too. 5 5 1
1958 Prominentes Good cigar for the price 4 5 1
1958 Prominentes Good medium smoke. 4 5 1
1958 Prominentes While this will never be mistaken for an Opus X, you will be hard pressed to find a tastier, better constructed cigar for this price. Always happy with these. 4 5 1
1958 Prominentes Very impressed with flavor; wasn’t expecting it for the money. Does require a lot of time to enjoy to fullest. 4 5 1
1958 Prominentes I had returned 10 of these cigars because the wrapper was red, and quite red at that. I kept a third order of these because they were "less red" than the previous ones. I think I should've retrieved this order also, as it was kind of disappointing. The stogie went out twice. It canoed twice. It was angular and somewhat harsh. Yes, I smoked it, but u can only imagine it was like Dutch Masters that had been on a shelf in some rundown corner liquor store. Consistently below average, in my opinion. 2 5 1
1958 Prominentes DO NOT BUY. Save them for ME !!! 1 5 1
