Robusto I have been used to and am a great fan of all Cuban Cohibas. My friend and also a store owner asked me to try this Dominican version. I found it to be a pleasant change and the flavors the construction of the consistency did not differ much from an actual Cuban Cohiba. After I finish the cigar I definitely invested in a couple of more to keep in my humidor to age for a while to see if it gets even better. 4 5 1
Robusto It was a good smoke but for the price of a good cigar I thought it was way too much for what you get. The flavors are just okay the construction was fine with nice thick smoke and held the ash but again it's an overpriced cigar. Paying for the name mostly on the cigar. 3 5 1
Robusto These have a Cameroon wrapper on them (which I am not a huge fan of) but there are not overly peppery. The wrapper coupled with the Dominican tobacco gives the cigar lots of complexity. This cigar is one of my favorites. They are pricey but you can smoke them to the very end. And by that I mean till your fingers burn! Really great cigar. 5 5 1

Robusto This cigar has a very earthy taste all the way through. If you're a fan of that I would recommend it. I myself don't like a ton of earth in my cigars but it was very consistent and constructed very well. In the final third of the cigar you get 1 puff of black licorice I kid you not it's the weirdest thing. 3 5 1

I got one in a sampler package I would never have paid $10 for a single cigar Dominicans are really my favorite because they were in the mildest cigars for some reason unknown to me all of the jrcigar writers seem to think that a more developed cigar palate demands heftier and stronger cigars. Robusto This is a solid smoke. The draw is a little tight The flavors are bold but not overpowering. The leather notes stay pretty pronounced throughout but they are punctuated with notes of cedar and pepper with the spice growing more pronounced on the finish. Robusto Wow. Incredible cigar. Now I took my time cutting and lighting the cigar ever so slightly with my matches. It is certainly a cigar that deserves such time an effort. I am only a few puffs in but I expected somewhat strong notes of pepper and spice. I experienced quite the opposite - hints of cocoa and light earth. Smooth draw thus far. Being a robusto the transition between the leaves is early yet subtle. I will not continue on from here for the sake of the length of the review but I expect much great things from the rest of the cigar. 4 5 1

Robusto I bought these on sale for a 10 pack. I had ordered the cohiba maduro and these came instead. Almost called to complain, but then I decided for the sale price I would try them. Glad I did. These are smooth. These may be my new favorite cigar. Everything was good. I am no expert, but these are a great medium cigar, no joke. I am so glad I did not send these back. Honestly, if you have a chance to buy these on sale, do it. Not sure I would pay full price, but that is nothing against the cigar, just my pocketbook. if you do, you will not be sorry. Next time, I will be ordering these and not by accident. 5 5 1

Robusto Great cigar only problem is the picture you see is the Cohiba with a cream colored band but when the box was open it's a red labeled Cohiba. Called and they were nice about but when you show one picture and the cigar is very different looking seems like something is wrong. Robusto In brief, I give the RED DOT a 3 only because it lacks the Nicaraguan notes of flavor as it leave your pallet. Outside of that, it's a 4-star stick! The construction is very good, and provides a nice tight white ash 5-minutes into the smoke. All in all, one of my favorite sticks with Pinot Noir wine -- a perfect match! 4 5 1

Robusto These cigars never disappoint! This is my go-to smoke when I don't really want to try something unusual. I always keep a stack of these on hand and buy them every time they go on sale. It has a nice flavor from start to finish. There's nothing unusual about the cigar flavor wise, just a good solid start to finish flavor. Robusto I’ve got a humidor with over 1400 cigars 90% are Partagas & Cohiba. I prefer Cameroon wrappers. I age my cigars, and keep a humidor in the man cave(I prefer to call cigar room more civilized name) that I keep a selection of sizes in. The Cohiba red dot 5/49 is a perfect short smoke. Robusto have a few humis, the once a month humi,the once a week humi, the every day humi and the celebratory cigars (Habanos aged over 20 years). and then a huge cabinet of every day mow the lawn and poker cigars, well this are in once a week variety, the assortment there are about 120 pieces aged from 2-3 years , so when i get a batch they go to the bottom and wait for some humi time.good burn, decent draw, good wrappers, solid flavors of aged Tabaco and no gimmicky if you see this on sale grab a pack give them humi ime for a year and the give them a review. 4 5 1

Robusto A beautifully made cigar with an even burn. Its draw is good and it offers great smoke, but it does burn rather fast. The tip end can be a little soft but overall it’s an enjoyable smoke.
