I've already reviewed this one (4/02/17) but at the moment I'm a bit tee'd off at CAO.
In my last review I started by admitting to being hooked on this cigar. I haven't given up on them since; I've had a box delivered about every 18 to 20 days since the first box. Yup I smoke one every day and I give one to anyone that will smoke with me.
But here is my beef; they still are inconsistent and too many in every box does not burn correctly and becomes work to smoke. It is usually one side that has a thick hard leaf and that leaf will not burn with the rest of the roll. So you end up touching that side up throughout the smoke. Annoying as h_ _ _ _!!
Also this summer more have been draw problems than normal but that just might be the humidity in the air. My box is very thick (humid) even though I've not put anything in the humidifier since June.
So here is what I'm asking...JR; if you are listening please ask CAO to ferret out the guy that doesn't roll these correctly and give him some remedial training. I'm not giving up on them but I'm getting tired of paying for 20 and only getting 16 or 17!

This is an ok cigar I thought. Not a lot of smoke unless you really puff on it then it gets hot and the flavor profiles are lost. The draw I didn’t like. And it’s hard to get started. Other than that like I said it’s ok for a chance up.

CAO is always lush and well constructed and has the weight that many makers think no one notices Fabulous

A friend gave me one of these and I was hooked. They are large and powerfully rich and not for the faint of heart. The smoke is heavy but smooth and thick with flavor; woodsy; coffee and maybe even a hint of cocoa. They generally burn clean and hold a very good ash.
Since the first one given to me I've gone through several boxes. The Box itself is a thing of beauty; constructed of a sturdy wood and decorated in Black and Silver with a motorcycle silhouette image on top. Every Cigar is individually cello wrapped and also in it's own single cardboard box. Very nice package; impressive when you pull one out in front of your smoking buddies. You get a lot of 'whoa what is that?' reactions. The Cigar itself always looks perfect.
Generally if punched correctly the Draw is very good. No complaints there. But every box seems to have one or two or three that are lopsidedly rolled (or have a 'dead' leaf) so they begin to stop burning at the same rate even after a picture perfect first light. The result is one side burning and the other not and a need to keep touching it up. (I hate having to work to keep a cigar burning correctly!) For that reason I give the cigar only a 3 on Construction and a 3 on Consistency.
That won't stop me from keeping an ample of supply of these around though.
If you try one you'll probably feel the same.

Loving the whole CAO at this point. Great full complex flavors thru and thru. Really goes good with coffee

This has a very smooth nice flavor. It's larger than I would like but the CAO Flathead line is great and the steel horse extension is a nice addition.

That a bad cigar. I usually shy away from the CSI but this is a nice smoke with a decent flavor and burn.

Love the band on this one. Besides that a nice full body smoke. Good flavors mostly spicy and woody with some coffee.

I bought a ton of these and smoked one every day for over a year. I finally came to the conclusion I was spending way over what I should for them based on the fact that 5 or 6 out of every box were constructed so poorly. The burn and draw on the bad ones would be so bad I'd toss them and light another rather than fight through it. Smoking a cigar should be enjoyable and relaxing; not work.
