Gordo I used to work part time at a tobacco shop, not because I needed the money, but for that wonderful, wonderful employee discount. One of the finer perks an employee had was to be able to select one $10 stick a day in order to become familiar with the inventory. A terrific concept that only had one flaw, and that was due to human nature, every employee always picked a Camacho Carajo The epitome of a full bodied, nuanced smoke, always perfectly constructed, we would smoke our daily selection down so far that beads of sweat would begin to appear on our collective foreheads. Back in the day, either the Gordo shape hadn’t been created or we didn’t carry it, but when I saw the shape as a selection, I chose a box immediately. Tobacco being the best filter for nicotine, the large lighter gauge resulted in a lighter initial third of the smoke. Lighter in this case is not to imply the smoke was passive, indeed, that famous Camacho Carajo authority, announced itself upon the initial light. At this point, I am halfway through the box, and each smoke has been flawless. No runs, no relights. The only thing needed to enjoy one of these beauties is a sufficient amount of time. 5 5 1
