Benji Menendez for Cuban Cigar Factory is one of two master blender collaborations from the famous Ventura Cigar Company. Menendez was born in Cuba and worked alongside his father at the legendary H. Upmann factory in Havana. Forced to leave Cuba when Fidel Castro made the cigar industry state owned, Menendez made cigars in Jamaica and then later the Dominican Republic, working with premium industry giants Altadis U.S.A. and General Cigar Co. Available in three big-ring sizes, the cigars features an Ecuadorian Shade wrapper over a Dominican binder and fully aged Dominican and Nicaraguan long fillers. These mellow to medium bodied gems provide a sweet luring aroma, along with creamy smooth flavors of cocoa, cedar, leather, spice, and caramel. If you’re looking for an easygoing smoke that still provides rich Cuban-style flavors, then add a box of 20 to your next JR Cigar order.
