Muwat doesn't mean strong

M.U.W.A.T. By the Drew Estate is a cigar that kinda disappointed me because I expected it to blow my head off. It is more medium bodied. It's a good cigar just figured my uzi weights a ton would be a beast.
Camp Fire Smoke
Sl8man on 07/07/15
Great cigar for hanging out at the camp fire, swilling back a tal cold one. Well constructed and great burn all they till the end. You won't want put this one down until it starts burning your nose pickers. I would suggest buying at least a 10 pack. Your buds are going to want to fire one up with you. AAA+
eh. not good.
The one Drew Estate cigar I've ever not enjoyed. I thought it was a leather bomb, with not much other flavors in the mix. Draw was a little tight, and the wrapper had issues staying lit. Probably a dud but I won't go looking for them anytime soon.
My Uzi Weighs A Ton is another fine smoke from Jonathan Drew. The bait fish is supposedly tweaked but all other vitolas are the same. I'd actually recommend the +11 size as the wrapper comes more into play. Not as good as Liga or Undercrown but not too far away.

I love the MUWAT. These cigars are reasonably priced and are easy to find. The wrapper is dark and smooth and has some hints of chocolate in the smell. The cigars usually burn evenly with little need for a touch up. They also produce a ton of smoke! This is a great cigar and I always have a few on hand!
It's gotta be "Public Enemy's" favorite smoke.

Anyone that grew up listening to rap music in the '80's has got to recognize that the name of this stick has to have come from Public Enemy's song "Miuzi Weighs a Ton". History lesson aside, if you are a fan of large ring gauge mild to full Maduro smokes, you can't go wrong with this. A quality stick that I will smoke any time.
So much foot smoke!

This cigar has a larger RG than I normally smoke but I deffinately enjoyed it. Construction was good and didn't need much attention during smoking. A little on the one dementional side but still great for the price.

I haven't had the best of luck with these sticks being consistent. I will get one and love it's bold spiciness then the next one will be rather bland. Almost like the roller left out the ligero. The Bait Fish sized Uzi is my favorite of the line by far. Little power house!

Introducing Jonathan Drew's latest creation, My Uzi Weighs a Ton - a most excellent edition to Drew Estate's Subculture Studio. This joint project with Joya de Nicaragua is medium to full in body, and boasts a husky series of 60-ring vitolas booming with flavor. Dark and oily San Andres maduro wrappers conceal a hefty dose of Nicaraguan and Brazilian long-fillers secured by a smooth Connecticut 'Capote' binder. The smoke is hearty and rich, unveiling a deep series of bold yet balanced flavors from start to finish. Layered with complexity - earth, leather, pepper, sweetness, cocoa - the massive 60-ring frame is the ultimate vehicle to savor each of these complex intricacies throughout the slow and cool burn.

By all means, not a bad cigar. Solid flavors of hay, earth, wood, and a distinct tobacco flavor. A solid stick. Although I have to say the best part is the band. The thick wrapper doesn't burn perfectly straight, but the draw never failed me.

Decent gritty flavor of tobacco leather and earth, with a mild to medium body. Slight construction problems with a few of them, but I think that might have been on my end. I'll let them sit another month or so before trying one again.
Another great drew estate creation

Cigar has great construction great draw and the good flavor receiving taste chocolate and hints of coffee. I can somewhat taste those flavors I'm still developing my taste palate. Overall I enjoyed this one.

I had to try one of these after all the hype by fellow cigar enthusiasts. And now I know what all the hype was about. The MUWAT is a very finely made cigar. It has exceptional flavor throughout the entire smoke. It burned cool and even. It took a while to smoke so be sure you a lot yourself over an hour and a half. It was a enjoyable pleasure smoking this one.
