This is a very inexpensive cigar with a very mild body. I enjoyed this cigar especially for the price. It lasts a decent while though not as long as a higher end cigar. If you are on a budget this is the cigar for you.
JR goes hard in the paint

fantastic smoke with a delicious flavor profile. it felt a tiny bit plugged until I cut it a second time about a third of the way in, but after that mishap it was thoroughly enjoyable. would rate this stick an 8/10
Good solid smoke!
Druid808 on 06/25/15
Good solid smoke. Slight creaminess with a touch of spice, grass and a leather finish. A little bitter, but very acceptable considering the price. I let 'em sit for a time in my humidor to mellow out that bitterness and i find after a month or so the bitterness does mellow out. I've been smoking these for awhile. Awesome for the price. I try to keep a box around at all times. Again i recommend aging them a bit, but I would definitely urge you all to purchase a box of these puros. Aloha!
JR does it again!

Not only does JR know how to sell cigars they know how to pick their blends as well. One of if not the best house blends I have had the honor of toasting and bathing my pallet in the fine smoke it produces it's such a smooth creamy smoke and worth stocking up on
Affordable and Beatiful, but not a mail order bride?

My favorite thing about this cigar is the wrapper. Torpedoes, though possibly the most attractive cigars, normally have a bit tougher draw than a standard capped cigar but these are still expect opal quality at an excellent price

This isn't the best cigar you are going to smoke. It is adequate for what you are paying for. Lacks the flavors of an acid or Drew estate cigar. Kind of a bad tasting cigar. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who isn't looking for just a so-so cigar.
The Industry Standard
Colonel Neal on 07/21/16
This is the cigar that made me a rabid and loyal fan of JR Cigars. I read about them in Cigar Aficionado and had to buy a box based on the rating. I fell in love with them back in the early 90s and never have been without them since. I smoke from one box and keep another box aging--when the box I'm smoking from is gone, I immediately replace it. The taste, draw, construction, and consistency are unequaled in the industry. A medium to bold taste (depending on the wrapper you chose) which is never harsh at the beginning or end of the smoke. Never be without these. It's a cigar you will be proud to share with friends without hesitation.
JR Ultimate belicoso cabinet

JR Ultimate is one, if not my favorite, cigars. I maintain an ample supply of other brands for diversity of taste, strength, and character. This belicoso is no exception. Of medium character and enjoyable any time of day, it's recommended for anyone's personal test trial.
Close but no.....

A bargain version of a good expensive smoke. You can tell the difference between this and a higher end stick but this stick does have all the flavors and consistancy for it to compete with a top end cigar.
