Troya Clasico by Frank Llaneza
No. 54 Robusto Larga · 6 × 54 TR54L_1
Expertly handmade at the NACSA factory in Nicaragua with Frank Llaneza’s blend of perfectly aged 100% Cuban-seed long-filler tobaccos grown in the Jalapa Valley, these Cuban-style smokes feature a zesty binder and an attractive, medium-brown Ecuador Sumatra wrapper. They’re full-bodied, spicy, and complex with a balanced smoothness accompanied by undertones of earthy sweetness. This fantastic smoke rivals the best Cuban cigar brands being made today!

Part of the late great "Frank Llaneza's Nicaraguan Trifecta" with Siglo and 1961. I found this one to have the most "pepper" of the three, combined with Frank's traditional "earthiness". Although, having one of the ugliest bands in the industry (it really is!), the Troya Clasico is a top 10 underrated gems. If you've liked Frank's classic earthy blends, give this one a shot (while it lasts!). Looks like the Siglo is on it's way out, hopefully this and the 1961 stick around.

Old school Cigars
Andrew Tosetti on 12/16/14
If you are a seasoned cigar smoker and truly love a REAL cigar this is it. To tell you the truth it's one of the best old school; cigars on the market. As a cigar nut I would have loved to had the chance to sit down and smoke one with Mr. Llianeza , when he passed the world lost one one the great cigar blenders of the world both this and his 1961 are a main say in my humidors, so if you have never smoked one please do yourself a favor and do so. you will not be disappointed .
