This is my idea of what a great cigar should be. It is perfectly constructed. To top it all off I can get 9 holes out of it and sometimes a few more. What else could you want in this world, golf and great cigar.

Given the previous reviews, I was looking forward to trying this cigar as an alternative to the LaGloria Cubana Serie R I usually get. The price was right but the performance was disappointing. Poor burn, uneven taste, questionable construction and overall an OK cigar. Staying with my old brand.

This is the best cigar I have ever smoked. I have tried plenty of the name brands. None of those compares to the SLR Series G. I have had none of the problems of other reviewers. This cigar burns true and draws as good as any other large ring guage cigar.

I personally think the smaller sizes of this cigar are much better. With the Churchill I have to puff 2 or 3 times to get any smoke every time unless I'm puffing every 15 or so seconds. Also a very large to ring gauge for a Churchill, which I didn't realize until after makinf my order. That being said, I love the flavors - peppery with a lot of creamy coffee and deep earth. This also takes a long time to smoke - upwards of an hour and a half to two hours. I would still highly recommend it if none of what I have just said turns you off.
Buy it won't disappoint

A little spice cream and chocolate on the first 1/3 chocolate and sweet fruit the second 1/3 ends with creamy maduro and smooth smoke great draw construction and taste. This is my favorite over the SLR and gen brands just a fat beautiful stick

After smoking CAO's for years, I came across Saint Luis Serie G 7x58 and found that it's way better than CAO. The only this is the price of this cigar went up in price.. I remember paying $120 plus dollars.. I treated myself and paid $205 for this cigar, but I'm not looking to pay that much again.. I hope they go back down on price, if not I'll be waiting for Cuba to open their doors..
